Please let me begin with an apology for the long delay since the last update. As mentioned, my wife and I were off on an overdue holiday (which was GREAT), but guess who got picked up Covid a few days later...? (sigh) I slept through most of last week recovering, and I'm still crawling a bit getting readjusted to a normal work schedule... 🥴
But despite that, I come bearing good news!
Shipping should begin on Friday!
The warehouse confirmed today that everything is ready to go, and shipping labels will start printing tomorrow. There's no reason packages couldn't start leaving their dock as soon as Friday! 🥳
They typically tackle domestic US and North American orders first with all abroad International orders immediately after, so those should be out fairly soon, too. I would guess everything should be out the door by the end of next week.
You should receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information from "[email protected]" once your package has gone out. You may want to proactively make sure that address is white-listed in any spam filter or quarantine net your email server may use. We'll add that tracking info to your Backerkit once all packages have gone out, but hopefully you've already gotten your stuff by the time that data gets imported.

If you missed the mention on the campaign page, every pledge includes a number of Ambassador Points equivalent to your final order total (including postage). If you are already a webstore customer and part of the program, just log into your webstore account (which should be under the same email address as your Kickstarter/Backerkit account). You should see those new points added to your balance under the heading "CASSEGRAIN Backerkit Points."

They hope to have the Stretch Goal bundles and such assembled next week and if all goes according to schedule, they hope to start shipping orders either by the end of the week or (more likely) the week after.
As mentioned above, I'm heading out of the country for a much-needed overdue holiday, taking off tomorrow for 12 days abroad. I don't know what my connectivity will be, but if I can report in while gone, I certainly will. Otherwise, I should return to confirm the good news that orders have gone out. 😊

You may have already received an email notification from Backerkit, but if not, check your inboxes or your Backerkit account page (which you can access at https://cassegraincollection.backerkit.com/). You will find all of the links and instructions for downloading your files behind the big blue button in the middle of your account page that says "Get Your Digital Downloads" -- click on that to see your individual links for each item due.
The books are all hosted by Gumroad -- you will have to follow the (simple) instructions to use your unique codes to download your files from Gumroad for free. 😊 If you have any trouble or questions about the process, feel free to ask here or in a direct message, we're happy to help!
We'll be awarding Ambassador Points next, so stay tuned for another update next week!
As mentioned yesterday, we have initiated the Address Lock. Backerkit will now send everyone a final notice email giving you 48 hours to make any necessary address changes. After that 48-hour countdown, whatever address we have on file will be what we use for shipping.
Please watch for this notification -- if your address looks fine already, you don't have to do anything, but if you need to make any changes, now is the best time to do so! Any changes requested after this weekend will require you to contact us directly so that we can make any late adjustments manually (assuming there's still time to make the change). We are hoping shipping can begin in the next few weeks, before the end of the month (April).

We just wanted to post a quick update to give you a heads up that we're going to LOCK ADDRESSES this weekend! That means you will have this weekend to either confirm or make any final adjustments to your shipping address before we export all order data for our fulfillment warehouse to start preparations. Watch for another update tomorrow once we have initiated that lock process.

I didn't realize our last update was LAST YEAR...! 😬 But everything has been rolling right along since then, and we're now at that point where we will be locking orders. We'll be initiating the order lock this evening, which will trigger a final notification email from Backerkit to complete your survey if you haven't done so already or to make whatever changes you may wish to make to your order within the next 48 hours (confirm add-ons, payment method, shipping address, etc). After that 48-hour window, your order will be locked from any further changes.
We will then process credit card charges for any balances due on Monday.
We are still looking good for a late-April ship date. We will leave the addresses unlocked until closer to that date in case you need to update your shipping address before then. We'll let you know when that lock date comes up (but it will likely be around the end of March).
In the meantime, we have received the first hard copies of DON'T LET GO from the printer, and they look great!
