This update is just to let you know I am working on finishing up the layout for surveys that get sent so you can all pick specific options for plushies & merch! Once my survey layout has been approved by the Backerkit team, a smoke test goes out which means a small batch of you receive the survey to make sure no errors were made.
The next update will be to share progress pictures on Victor’s sample and a reminder on when we can get the bulk ordered once I have counts made for which plushies everyone wants! :) I will be sharing any enamel pin progress photos as well throughout this process!
The day has come where the journey in the mists closes this chapter to move onto the next. In about 8 hours, funding will close. I will start preparing surveys as soon as tomorrow to send them out soon!
I will be at my coffee shop job for a little bit today, but don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions. :)

Happy Saturday everyone! While I was out at a couple pumpkin patches we passed the point for both getting hinged pins for all of you as well as the 2.25 inch Ravenloft button badges for 75+ backers!
We’ve got one more day for funding and then I am going to get to work finishing up surveys to send. Those will go out around October 11th-15th (I’ll make an update if I need to send them out any later for some reason). Surveys allow you to choose what plushies and/or merch you want as well as add-on anything if you want more for any reason!
As you’ve seen, Victor was unlocked as a plush option and I have been cooking up ideas for a final stretch goal or two. I have decided that I want to do something new which I think would be fun to include in everyone’s orders/ as an add-on in the surveys if anyone wants more than 1. Below is the art I’ve made for a hinged enamel pin of Strahd which will unlock at $5,500. :)
If we reach the goal, everyone gets one with their order regardless of pledge type as a thanks for all of your support for this project. And if we don't reach that goal, we still have all our plush options and the goodies! If anyone has anymore NPCs they want to see as keychain/sticker options don't hesitate to let me know. And just as a reminder, my collab with Arcanepursuit is still going on so check out their project as well!
I hope your travels through the mists so far have been fair. Upon waking this morning I was met with the pleasant surprise that we have reached the funding for Victor now to be a plush option.
What does this mean moving forward? I am going to reach out to my manufacturer to get the sample of him started! I also made a button badge design for if we reach 75 backers by the end of the project as I love making buttons in house! We still have 9 days left so I am cooking up potential mini goals or a larger one in the meantime until our final day of funding.

I am working with Vograce on fixing how the button turned out, but I do think the sepia look is super cool for how the sample (and 2 extras) I got turned out! I was wondering if anyone has thoughts on these ones. I will probably sell them after the project as discounted buttons because of the color mistake 🤣

Hi everyone! I know that y'all have been excited asking about other NPCs being made into plushies and here we are, seeing who should be made into a 4th option if all 3 original goals are reached :)
I know we may not reach funding for this, but I am very hopeful and think it can be achieved with so much expressed interest so far. Thank you so much!
