Just a quick update: zine proofing wraps up this week; I am working on finishing up my comic so the placeholder in the proof doesn't look so empty, and then the zine will be going to print!

Here we are in 2026, So I wanted to post a quick update on the progress of the project. I'm pleased to report almost all the merchandise has arrived, the zine production is a little bit behind where I was hoping to be, we're still in the process of editing and proofing the book while I work on my comic, so while there's a chance books may be here in February, it's looking like rewards will likely start shipping out in March.
I'm going to work on taking photos of some of the items, I'll post an update with those pictures (the art foil cards are amazing) soon.
Quick update: today survey and preorder payments will be processed. I'm starting on the book layout for the zine and merch files are ready to go, so now we're officially entering into the production phase! I'm so excited. 😁

In the end, I decided to keep the art in red tones, I think it suits the theme and it'll really pop with the gold elements while giving the cover that antique storybook feel. (The parts that are lemon/yellow will be gold foil.) I still need to apply it to the printing template, so it will probably have more of a border on the edges for the finished cover.
Just a quick heads-up that the Backerkit preorder store will close on November 10th... so if you’ve been thinking about grabbing a copy (or any preorder goodies), now’s the time!
