I identify with this. I got a little emotional when I saw this hit 1 mil, and I'm only invested because I like the group behind it. I can only imagine how emotional it must be to see the culmination of your life's passion coming to life before your eyes.
Money is nice, but what Matt (and the team, I would assume) is (are) getting out of this is the chance to fulfill every TTRPGers secret dream: Make a killer TTRPG!
