Project Update: Cards are sending SOON
Hi all!
The physical cards have all maneuvered into position and are preparing to go out. All we're waiting on is some special packing material (we don't want to risk these sweet boxes in a regular book wrap) and we'll get them rolling.
Digital files: These have been sent out via DriveThruRPG. There are a bunch of different versions for different uses. The DIY cut & paste version is exactly as simple as it looks and I am assured it is the best way to do it by people who spend way more time DIYing boardgames than I do. Top tip: print them on sticker sheets and slip some card (or actual playing cards) between them for some top-notch home made decks.
Friends of Melsonia: I think I have now caught everyone who was missed by my (slightly less clever than I had hoped) spreadsheet. If not, please do email us on [email protected]. Two things though! Firstly, the way we had to do "free" postage was to credit your pledge the value of the postage, so it will look like it's asking for postage but you are not actually paying any extra for it. And do not panic if you paid without realizing, there is no point at which we can't roll it back and fix whatever the issue is.

Project Update: Surveys SENT
Hi all!
You should be receiving your surveys now. Our first fulfillment location will be sending out non-USA stuff this coming week, and the second location will be sending USA cards mid-June. They're going from inside the USA so it'll be quite fast once it starts.
Now for a quick FAQ:
Q: I'm a Friend of Melsonia, what happens with the postage?
A: It should be "free". I say "" 'cos the way I've had to do it is to manually apply credit to your profile to the value of the postage. One way or another, if you are a current Friend of Melsonia you should not need to pay extra for postage costs, and if you do something has gone screwy and you should email us on [email protected] with your Backerkit pledge and Friends of Melsonia details so we can find you.
Q: USA postage is expensive.
A: Tell me about it. I can bump your pledge down to the print-on-demand tier if you would prefer to pay a bit less. After printing and shipping it looks to be about 2/3 of the price of shipping the posh deck.
Q: Where is the POD?
A: I got the proofs yesterday and will be setting them live on Tuesday once the DriveThruRPG page is made all pretty.
Q: And DIY digital version?
A: This week. Shuyi got back from holiday and will be putting that together imminently.

Project Update: Cards are in the USA
The cards have arrived safe and sound in the USA already. So fast that we don't even have them here in the UK yet, so i can't even show you a copy. SO FAST, in fact, that the we're gonna have to wait around a bit to deliver them 'cos there are other projects ahead of us in the queue at the US warehouse. Still quicker than we originally intended, so that's great.
A NOTE REGARDING FRIENDS OF MELSONIA: We're marking the postage as free by comparing everyone who emailed us along with a spreadsheet of members' details to the details on Backerkit. This should get everyone, but if you're missed and end up with the pledge manager asking for postage money just let us know and we'll fix it. If you have already paid and should not have done don't worry, that is also an easy fix, so similarly just let us know and I'll press the button on that.

Project Update: Surveys are coming!
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support.

Project Update: Cards are... printed?
I told you our factory liked to surprise us. When they said "June" they meant "end of April". We didn't rush to the updates 'cos I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up in case the shipping was catastrophically slow. It isn't! So that's nice. It'll take a week or two, and just needs me to decide how many are being split off to go to the US.
Right now we're scrambling to get the shipping prices set so we can take exact numbers going to the US. We're splitting the shipment so HOPEFULLY no one gets hit with any tariffs or fees or VAT or whatever other fresh nightmare that's been invented between me typing this sentence and hitting "post". Hopefully.
As a result, we're sending out the surveys ASAP and it would be SUPER if any USA folks would be extra certain to get on it early so they can benefit from the quicker internal shipping method. It's not been sent yet, so don't panic, I'm still figuring out shipping costs. Don't want to mess those up in either direction!
The POD version of the cards is going to be completed this week I hope. We have to get a print copy sent and confirm it's good before we can press go on that, which is slooooow.
