This is just a quick update to let you know that the funds have just arrived.
That means that we will be sending out surveys for the Pledge Manager very soon, hopefully within the next day or two.
So sit tight, and you'll soon have your pledges in hand!
If you don't already have a MyMiniFactory account and you pledged for the STLs, then you can save yourself some time later by registering for a free account here.
Where to Get Magnets
The entire system works around magnets allowing you to swap out pieces. These are all 5mm x 2mm disc magnets. Here is where you can source them at great prices:
The Outposts of Perdition campaign is officially over. So what happens next?
Step 1 - Collecting Funds
Over the next couple of weeks Backerkit will collect the funds from all of the backers. Afterwards they will send them to us.
Step 2 (In about 2 weeks) - Surveys Sent Out
Once we have received the funds we will send out the surveys, which will collect any pertinent information, taxes (for Canadians only), and shipping costs (physical pledges only).
Step 3 - STLs Sent Out
In the survey you'll be able to give us your MyMiniFactory email if you purchased digital STLs. We will start fulfilling those STLs within a few days of the first surveys being answered.
Step 4 - Physical Pledges Shipped
We will start printing physical pledges right away, and ship them out once they are done. We are hoping to get them all done by June 2026 at the latest.
Missed the Campaign? No problem!
At the same time as sending out surveys we will also make the STLs and physical products available, either through Backerkit or on our website at https://forge.miniwargaming.com. We'll post more information on that later.
The man just couldn't catch a break. He was sent to investigate a research moon in the Anphelion system, only to end up facing a massive Tyranid infestation!
Luka and I worked together to recreate the final events of the story given us in the Imperial Armour Volume 4, the Anphelion Project. The Outposts of Perdition terrain works perfectly for this setting, which inspired the idea in the beginning.
I posted both the lore explanation video and terrain set up, as well as the 3,000 point Apocalypse game that Luka and I played.
We still have a couple of weeks left in this campaign. I thought it was time to release some of the STL files as a free sample, so that you can test print them and see for yourself how easy they print and paint.
I would love to see your test prints (painted or unpainted) and get your thoughts. You can visit our Discord server to post your pictures, questions, and comments.
