As we've been working at setting up the upcoming Outposts of Perdition campaign I wanted to make sure that this terrain could really work for Matched Play games of the most popular grimdark sci-fi miniature wargame out there.
I wanted to make sure that this wasn't just another pretty set of terrain with no brains!
I enlisted our resident Matched Play expert Skari from SkaredCast and picked his brain about how to make the best tables for games like Warhammer 40k 10th edition.
With his advice we came up with several ideas. Here is one of them:
A sample layout of the Outposts of Perdition
Obviously this table is unpainted, so it doesn't quite show off how awesome it will look. Also, we still need to print a couple more pieces to finish the buildings on the bottom middle and top middle.
As you can see, it will work really well for your games, while still looking quite thematic and narrative. AND it will store super well and not take up too much of your storage space.
And given how easy and quick it will be to paint, this set will be perfect for gaming stores, clubs, and in your home games as well.
We have more to show you, so keep an eye out, and make sure you follow the campaign so you don't miss anything!
Happy 3D printing!
