Last time we updated you on the progress of Electric Sun, which you can read about here, we mentioned that Invisible Sun: Indigo was finishing up in the design and production process. Now, we’re happy to report that Invisible Sun: Indigo is heading to the printers!
Indigo is going to be a truly gorgeous game, worthy of the top shelf spot in any gamer’s collection. Weighing in at more than half the Black Cube’s weight, with more than 4 books, 1,000 cards, and dozens of extras such as handouts, dice, and an entire playmat, we’re sure this boxed set is worth the wait.
Have you seen this mockup edition? Gorgeous though it is, our mockup is a pale comparison to the beauty of what you’ll receive. Printed on an iridescent material that amplifies the vivid brilliance of its color, it will be an even greater beauty than the standard box, and a true collector’s item because it’s exclusively for the backers of this campaign!

Work has been done across the books, handouts, and character sheets to bring this product up to date with our plans for Invisible Sun: Indigo—we have the components ready to go to manufacturing. We’re currently working on the logistics of globally distributed production of components and assembly, while navigating the complexities of the current environment of international trade. Tariffs are also are challenging to work around but we're doing our best to get this game to you on schedule.
Moreover, design work and playtesting on Electric Sun is in full swing! The Design Team have been running a playtest campaign of the upcoming supplement for several months, and have compiled many helpful notes and details so any GM could run it.

This exciting campaign has reached its conclusion. (After an amazing four hours of Overtime Mode!) THANK YOU so much for helping us bring Invisible Sun: Indigo, The Electric Sun, and all the other new elements of the Invisible Sun RPG into being—and for unlocking the stretch goals that let us build them out toward our ultimate vision.
We want to tell you a bit about where things go from here—and we have some very exciting news for you—but first let’s give credit where credit is due:
While this campaign has been running, Monte has been working on The Electric Sun with Sean’s help, while also leading the rest of our design team—Bruce, Shanna, and our editor Dominique—as they keep our pipeline of products, including Dig Your Own Grave and All Your Gods Are Dead (for the Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game), The Darkest Woods, and Make Your Statement (for The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game) moving along on schedule. Monte, Bruce, and Sean have also been working on a pretty cool secret project—more on that below!
Bear and Javier designed bookmarks and wicked keys, imaged the forthcoming products, and handled the graphic design of this campaign—and they’ll make Invisible Sun: Indigo and The Electric Sun shine! With Teri, they’ve also been shepherding titles like Neon Rain and Gunslinger Knights through their production phase.
Jen, Olivia, and Kate have answered your questions (and are always available to provide support to you, our wonderful community) and managing MCG’s presence at events like UK Games Expo and the ACD distributor open house, both of which happened during this campaign.
Tammie has been steering the ship and keeping the logistics plates spinning. And Charles planned and ran this campaign (and is the author of this update!).
We are a small team, but we’ve worked diligently to keep all of our products coming while also running this campaign for future products. We all thank you very much for backing this campaign. We love making mind-blowing RPGs with beautiful production values and immersive experiences, and your support makes that possible.

In the meantime, we will get the pledge manager fully set up. The pledge manager gives us the information we need to fulfill your pledge and lets you manage your add-ons and make any pledge upgrades you want. We’ll notify you when we open the pledge manager, which should be in about three weeks. Please look out for, and respond to, that notification!

At the same time, please pay attention when you do get communications from us. Our emails and updates include critical information about your rewards.
When Your Rewards Ship
This is an important part of the process because it ensures we have accurate delivery information for every item we send out. (With thousands of backers getting rewards, it's amazing how many people will change their address over the fulfillment period.) You'll pay for shipping at that time.
Please pay attention to communications from us—don't let our updates or emails go to your spam folder, or otherwise ignore them, because if you do you could miss out on some of your rewards.

BackerKit has a feature called Overtime Mode: as long as new pledges keep rolling in, the campaign remains open. It ends when only when we hit a 10-minute stretch with no new pledges.
How long will Overtime Mode last? Sometimes it’s just ten or fifteen minutes, but sometimes it’s several hours—or even well into the night. It depends on whether pledges keep rolling in—and that depends on you. So please go out there, share this campaign, and help spread the word!
