Thanks to everyone who backed the project and ensured the creation of this high-quality mythic adventure. We're sorry about the late update; our small team has been really busy writing, drawing, and editing, but you can expect a steady update flow from now on. We'll start with sharing our development roadmap:
Roadmap
August 2026: Manuscript goes to editing. Illustration and layout continues, art prints and add-ons are printed in-house.
September/October 2026: Final touches. Printing begins. PDFs are sent out to backers.
October/November 2026: Finish printing, delivery to fulfillment warehouse and from there to backers.
December 2026: Delivery to retailers after backers have received their copies.
Printing
The monodrones just dropped off our new RISO duplicator and magazine binder as well as the apropriate inks, which means we’re officially in the printing business!

As we were all giddy to try our new machine, we did a quick test-print of the cover. Even on plain printer paper the colors really pop, and has a lovely artisan quality that's next to impossible to achieve with other printing methods.
Alignment will be 100% on the final product! (And on high quality paper!)
Munkao is hard at work illustrating the beautiful mudtiles for the Deluxe package. Take a look at these, if you haven't seen them already.

I'm currently in the try-stuff-out-and-see-if-it-works stage of making the soundtrack, so there's not much to share there yet, but I made a little diddy as a sort of proof-of-concept to use for our advertisement that ran for the past weeks on the Modern Mythospodcast. (Thanks, Jon and Seth!)
Pledge Manager and Coming Updates
We will launch the Pledge Manager pretty soon, where you'll be able to add some cool stuff to your order (including late pledges for Duginthroat Divided, if you missed out on that one!). Future updates will feature new illustrations by Daniel, insights into the writing process by Brian, WIP spreads from layout, and much more, so keep an eye on your email inbox!
