Group SNE was founded in 1987 by the current president Hitoshi Yasuda. Group SNE is known for a lot of things beyond role-playing games, including light novels, board games and card games.

Group SNE is the original Japanese creator of Sword World, and we are working suuuuuper closely with them to ensure the best translation possible. We want this project to set a new gold standard. That's why we are putting in so much time and effort - we want every detail to be right for the best and closest to the original experience possible.

Now that you've been primed about Group SNE and why we're working so closely with them, I wanted to share some very cool news. Ai is flying out to Japan just before the Sword World RPG campaign launches. She will be meeting with Group SNE, and wrangled them into doing a livestream with her.
 
It will be with Kei Kitazawa (the principal creator/author behind Sword World 2.5 and Sword World 2.0 rulebooks, supplements, replays, and short story collections of Sword World) and Hitoshi Yasuda (Founder & President of Group SNE).

Long time livestream viewers are probably used to being able to ask questions directly in/during the stream, but we'll have to handle this one a little bit differently since there's obviously going to be some translating involved:

⚔️ Questions will be collected HERE beforehand.
⚔️ Questions will be sent to Group SNE before the livestream.
⚔️ Ai, Kei Kitazawa, and Hitoshi Yasuda will choose which questions are the most relevant and what they can answer within the time frame they have.
⚔️ The ONLY way to submit a question is to ask it in the comments of this update.
⚔️ Question submissions will be closed on Thursday, October 8.

Adventurers! We've got cover art to share! Below you will find the full art that we will be using on the cover. We've gotten a ton of great feedback on this already, but let us know your thoughts in the comments and tell us what you like about it the most (obviously the Tabbit).

You can tell how much time, effort, and detail our artist (who would like to remain anonymous at least for now) put into this piece. Our Discord server has had a great time trying to figure out the exact pin point location this perspective was taken from on the map. Take a close look and see if you can figure it out for yourself! There may be a contest coming in the future...*hint hint* ;)

In case you missed it, the new primer was released earlier this month. You can follow the project on BackerKit to download it - if you've already followed, just head on over to the campaign page and click "View Rewards in my Account" at the top, and you'll be redirected to the download for the new primer.

What changed? A lot! There are a bunch of examples and explanations added. If you happen to have any feedback for us, we'd love to hear it. Drop your comments down below, or join the Discord to discuss your thoughts!

Speaking of the Discord, we've been dropping campaign reveals there every week! Here are a few that you might not have seen if you aren't on the server:

These are pencils you can roll like a D6! And the "dice" pictured (also functional as a D6) is actually an eraser!

I've also got this sweet Sword World dice scroll to share! This bad boy can hold your dice and/or the pencils above! We all thought that was kinda cool.

Keep in mind that these are all working designs because we are still finalizing things when it comes to manufacturing. Anything could change. BUT, everything is looking pretty cool, yeah?
