Yes and no! This is an extension of a long-running column on my website, Nathan Rabin's Happy Place. While I am generally pretty game to write about anything a donor chooses, there are limits. I'm not going to watch experimental Andy Warhol movies that are nothing but a static shot of some dude's dong for 10 hours. That would waste my time and yours. I see this as a collaboration, so if you're interested in this provocative choice, let me know what you'd like me to write about in depth, and I'll let you know whether it fits the project's parameters. For example, I'd be happy to write about 20 Steven Seagal or Chuck Norris movies, but not 20 avant-garde art movies from the 1970s.

I'd love to publish it on January 25th, the official 20th anniversary of the term's coinage, but that's not terribly realistic. The nice thing about novels is that you don't need to do an insane amount of research for them, although I have watched 21 Manic Pixie Dream Girl movies so far and will watch at least six more for this project.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
