I apologize for the delay. I was having issues with the link between BackerKit and DriveThruRPG. Long story short, I gave up on the link and sent out email links directly through DriveThruRPG.

Most everyone has replied to their survey just a hand full of stragglers. Some time tomorrow (September 1st) I will be locking the orders for those of you that have completed the survey and then start sending out download codes for the PDFs.
The final piece has been approved, and I'm officially kicking off the printer!
Now, I know you may have seen renderings of the cover for the Special Edition. For those who ordered it and want to wait to see how it turned out in person, I won't put the image directly in this update. However, that won't stop me from linking to it for those who do want to see it: Special Edition Cover Image
The Crowd Has Spoken!
It looks like the majority of you would like to get your hands on the PDFs now rather than wait. So, what's going to happen over the next 24 hours is the smoke test for the surveys. If everything goes well there, the button gets pushed and the surveys go out to everyone!
I'm not 100% sure yet how the survey responses are going to come through on my end, but as I get notified that they've been completed, I'll start sending out the download codes for the PDFs so you can get your hands on them.
Local Pickup
When completing your survey, if you live close enough to Watertown, WI, and would rather pick up your order, Jason from Phoenix Haven Cards and Games has graciously agreed to be my local pickup location once your order is available.
To do this, you'll need to select Local Pickup as your shipping country/option when completing the survey.
Please complete your survey no later than September 23, 2026.

I just got the updated production schedule for Afterglow and wanted to get it in front of you right away.
Short version: I won't have copies in hand to distribute until around October 30th.
Here's the breakdown:
August 7 – Printed proofs sent to me for review, approved by August 12
August 26 – Final binding proofs sent, approved for the full print run by August 31
September 8 – Advance copies sent to me, approved by September 11
September 21 – Bulk order leaves the printer
October 30 – Books arrive at our door
In the meantime, keep an eye on your email. Surveys go out in about a week. Once those start coming back, I should be able to start sending out your PDF download codes.
The blank masters have arrived and they are monstrous:
Paperback: 3.9 lbs
Hardcover: 4.4 lbs
Special Editions: 4.5 lbs
Internal content came in at 552 pages.
The one thing still open is the cover material for the Special Edition. I've rejected every sample sent so far. None of them met the feel I want for this book, and I'd rather hold a few days than approve something I'm not excited to own my self. I think we're close.
Once that's locked, here's the path as i know it:
Physical printed proofs in the next week or two
Proof approval
Final survey goes out
PDF codes get delivered
Books show up here in Wisconsin in early October.
