The last of the major playset illustrations is finally finished, and you'll probably recognize some familiar faces!
This illustration features Anne Dorko, Jax the Bard, Dungeon Maestro, Arcane Anthems, and GhostlightG as members of the fictional band Fortune Favors the Beat!

I hope you all had a wonderful December with lots of good food and time with loved ones! 

I'm continuing work on the layout, but I did go ahead and print 30+ drawstring tote bags using a linoleum block I hand carved using a stencil of the updated wheel icon! They're grungy and fun and I hope you all love them as much as I do. 

The edits from Jordan are back! I'm nearly done with implementing edits, and I cannot recommend Jordan's work enough. Once I finish implementing the edits, I'll get back to layout and the last major illustration I've been working on.

I finished the illustration for Fortune Favors Lasers, and the exclusive Fortune Favors a Chainmail Bikini sticker design. I bought some supplies for printing the tote bags! However, since the edits are back, I am prioritizing the book so that I can run a test print and work on auxiliary items like the tote bags while I wait for the test print to arrive.

I've wrapped up some splash art for the book and colorized it for stickers! The large playset illustrations will remain in full color, but whether I go with the black and white or colorized splash art in the book will depend on how it looks in the layout. The stickers will be using the colorized version, but if enough people like the black and white versions, I may make those available as stickers (or other items) at a later date. 

This month I will continue working on the rest of the playset illustrations and auxiliary item designs. For example, the weather is cooling off so once I finish cleaning up the rota fortunae dice wheel icon, I will be carving it into linoleum and printing it onto tote bags (plus a surprise item 😉).

The text is still in the hands of my editor, and while I've tried to stay out of the document while he works on marking it up for my own sanity, what I have seen of his work has been very good. 

When the edits for the book come back and I get back to working on the layout for the book, I'll send out the fulfillment survey, but I will send updates to notify you when they go out!
