Hello Everyone! We're happy to release our first two pets/companions for playtesting: Putty Buddy and Scrap-Pet. Putty Buddy is a temporary clay companion for the most dangerous jobs. Its painted on smile never waivers. Scrap-Pet is one of the backer-voted pets: a DIY creation that players can customize to fit their inner gearhead. You can find a link for the Discord channel invite and the Playtest working document in the Backer's Only section below. Art is currently in development for both of these creations.
Progress Update
August has been very good for us so far, with many of our guest modules completed or well underway. They are awesome and we can't wait to share them in the final module! Writing for the in-house creations is over halfway done, which is well on track. Art commissions are well underway as well, with just a handful remaining. This is the largest number of art pieces we've commissioned for a module!

Hello Everyone! The smoke test surveys were sent today, about 5% of you will receive your pledge manager link to confirm your order and add-ons. If all goes well, we'll be sending out all the surveys on Wednesday. If you have any problems with the survey, please reach out: [email protected] The pledge manager will be open until the end of September and shipping costs will be added closer to fulfillment to provide the most accurate cost for backers.
Hard at Work
On the module front, things are progressing well. We've had more of our illustrations roll in and the writing is coming along nicely. Everything is on track with where we're hoping to be. I was thrilled with the results of the Backer's Choice survey, I've been having a lot of fun working on the Pet Rock and Scrap-Pet, and I'm looking forward to diving into the Creature design soon.

With your support we were able to add a lot to It Followed Me Home: - We added 16 pages of content, taking the original module from 28 to 44 pages - We brought in incredible talented guest contributors: Wacomatrixo, Terry Herc, ChrisAir, and WatcherDM. While we came up just short of our last goal, as a big thank you for backing this project we're still bringing on Daniel Hallinan as a guest writer to create a pet/companion for us.

Over 200 votes were cast, and we really enjoyed the posts and how close the results were (the top two finished with the same number of votes!). So, for the final module, we're adding the top three! 1. The Creature 2. Pet Rock 3. Scrap-pet
Timeline and Communication
Looking ahead, here's a rough timeline of how It Followed Me Home will roll out: - July: Pledge Manager setup, rolled out by end of July. Work on writing and illustrations. - August: Work on writing and illustrations, layout begins. - September: Finalize all writing, receive final illustrations. Layout and editing. - October: Layout finalized, complete review and revisions. - November: Pledge Manager closes, credit cards charged. - December: PDF released. Printing and physical shipping completed by the end of the month. We'll be sending out updates at least once a month and dropping teasers about what we're currently working on. As an early preview, artist Tristan Tolhurst has started his hand-drawn illustration on the cyberat, guest writer Terry Herc's creation.
Terry's creation is wonderful and we can't wait to get it published alongside this incredible illustration.

Hello Everyone! We're thrilled to welcome the WatcherDM as an official guest creator for It Followed Me Home as we've passed our latest stretch goal/achievement. This also means we're expanding the module to an incredible 44 pages, an amazing growth from the 28 pages we originally set out to fund. Thank you all for your support!
Capstone Stretch Goal/Achievement
For our last stretch goal for It Followed Me Home, we're excited to introduce Daniel Hallinan as our final guest writer. Daniel is the extraordinary mind behind Bloom, VR-DEAD, and Under the Skin, and we can't wait to see what creation he comes up with. This final achievement will also push It Followed Me Home to 48 pet-packed pages.
