It's been about a month since our backer PDF for The Wolf You Feed was distributed out to backers. Onyx Path took the feedback you submitted during the campaign and after reviewing the backer PDF, and is currently working on the finalized PDF and Print-on-Demand versions. Once those have been reviewed and approved, they'll update the PDF on DriveThruRPG and you'll be able to download the latest version from your digitial library at your convenience.
At the same time, they're also locking down the specs for the softcover with the printer so it can go into production as quickly as possible. Hopefully there should be a bunch of Curseborne books on your shelves by the end of the year!

With the Pledge Manager up and running, this is our first "regular" update for our project. I'll send these updates out every month to let you know where we sit. This campaign is moving faster than any previous campaign, so we'll also give ourselves some wiggle room to improvise as needed. Any time we have a new reward or something of interest to share, I'll include that as well.

Hello Jumpers,
Just over a month ago, we launched this Crowdfunding campaign to turn the rough draft of the Curseborne jumpstart into a PDF and softcover book. Nearly 450 fans came out to support this and made it happen in a quick two-week campaign.
Earlier this week, we launched the Pledge Manager for the post-campaign phase and started sending out backer surveys to everyone who pledged their support.
And today, to continue our rapid run for this project, I've got rewards ready to go out to you.
But not just the existing PDFs that were Add On options during the campaign (though I've got those too!), but our primary reward - the Curseborne Jumpstart: The Wolf You Feed!

Curseborne is a game about being unaplogetic monsters in a world where being monstrous is the least of your worries. BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of the Curseborne Jumpstart to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. You may have submitted feedback during the draft manuscript phase - anything submitted now will be added to that list to help the team finalize the PDF for release and prepare for the softcover print run.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the CurseborneJumpstart Feedback Form!
They are aware of any Page XX notations - those are left in to replace for the final version once any changes you've suggested are made, so they can reference the correct page if any shifts in layout result.
Onyx Path will keep errata collection open for one week only. Please submit your feedback as soon as possible so the team can get on to finalizing this file - and working on our print version as well!
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), they will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Over the next handfulof days (May 20 - May 22), you’ll receive an email from Onyx Path (via [email protected]) with a special link to your Pledge Manager survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey (although you probably already have one from pledging to this campaign). When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey invitation link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available laterthis week via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts, and that won't happen until the books are being prepped for backer distribution.

Switch Your Pledge Level
If you click on your Pledge Level, you will see a list of all items included in your Pledge Rewards (including Stretch Goals and the Draft Manuscript), and also have the option to switch your Pledge Level, in case you've decided to get the corebook combo pledge instead of a PDF-only pledge tier for example.
Once you've confirmed that your Pledge Level is correct and where you want it to be, you can GETSTARTED with your BackerKit Pledge Manager Survey.
PLEDGE QUESTIONS
There are a couple of moving pieces that I've added for this one.
As noted, the goal is to get the Curseborne Jumpstart backer PDF out to you quickly, and then get the softcover book in production. If all goes well, it could possibly deliver to our fulfillment partners in a timeframe that might make it possible to ship the softcover with the Curseborne hardcover books that many of you pledged for during that Kickstarter campaign.
If you backed the Curseborne corebook Kickstarter campaign and pledged for the softcover book Printed Start pledge, you'll have an option on your survey to get the softcover from this campaign moved over to the pledge manager for the Curseborne corebook and shipped together. It's a manual process, and I think I can swing it, but want to make sure I'm only adjusting those orders were I have your approval to do so. We'll see how it all goes, and I'll keep you updated as I work on it.
Anyone who pledged to the Corebook Start Print combo is set to receive a standard hardcover version of the Curseborne corebook. In your survey, you'll have the option of trading up to the Deluxe and paying the difference. Just making sure options are available for backers.
Once we've got a fair response to our survey and collected a reasonable amount of info, I'll be working on fulfilling rewards that are available now - like the PDFs of the titles included in our Add On section (those are the Curseborne corebook PDF, the Storypath Ultra Core Manual PDF, the Tasty Bits Omnibus PDF, the Accursed Adventures PDF, the Accursed Tales digital fiction anthology, and the Onyx Path jumpstart assortment PDF bundle). Those will likely be coming to you by the start of next week, and I'll send another update with more info when that time comes.

Our main reward, the Curseborne jumpstart, is currently in proofing. I anticipate sending out the Backer PDF for this very soon - like before the end of the month. Because it's coming so quickly, I'm not going to worry about setting up a new download for the manuscript - the downloads we featured during the campaign are availble to backers at the bottom of this page on the Crowdfunding website. Soon, we'll have the Backer PDF as our primary source!

Either at the end of this week or start of next week I'll send an update with details about the distribution for that first wave of existing digital rewards.
At the end of June we'll begin our regular monthly check-ins, tracking the progress of this project as it moves through this phase. A two-week campaign, built for speed! Many of you jumped in early and we funded in minutes, and then word kept spreading and more and more backers jumped on over these past weeks. We even had alittle Backer Train going at the end that took us past our planned end time! Fun!!
Working together and supporting Onyx Path, the Curseborne jumpstart is going to make a pretty rapid transition from manuscript to PDF and once we've all reviewed that and submitted our feedback, they're going to start work on turning it into a softcover book.

Once those have been reviewed and approved, they'll update the PDF on DriveThruRPG and you'll be able to download the latest version from your digitial library at your convenience.
At the same time, they're also locking down the specs for the softcover with the printer so it can go into production as quickly as possible. Hopefully there should be a bunch of Curseborne books on your shelves by the end of the year!
ONYX PATH CON 2026 - CURSEBORNE PANELS
Wanna know more about the stuff we funded in this campaign and other stuff being worked on?
With the Pledge Manager up and running, this is our first "regular" update for our project. I'll send these updates out every month to let you know where we sit. This campaign is moving faster than any previous campaign, so we'll also give ourselves some wiggle room to improvise as needed. Any time we have a new reward or something of interest to share, I'll include that as well.
Each month, I'll list our "Pending" rewards and our "Delivered" rewards. We'll track the project status of our pending rewards by filling in the stage dots, and I'll note which update (and include a link) with each delivered reward, in case you want to go back and re-read the relevant update for more information. If any of these rewards were on your pledge list, you can access download codes in your BackerKit Digital Rewards page. And once they've been added to your DriveThruRPG library, you can access them through your DTRPG digital library at any time.

Just over a month ago, we launched this Crowdfunding campaign to turn the rough draft of the Curseborne jumpstart into a PDF and softcover book. Nearly 450 fans came out to support this and made it happen in a quick two-week campaign.
Earlier this week, we launched the Pledge Manager for the post-campaign phase and started sending out backer surveys to everyone who pledged their support.
And today, to continue our rapid run for this project, I've got rewards ready to go out to you.
But not just the existing PDFs that were Add On options during the campaign (though I've got those too!), but our primary reward - the Curseborne Jumpstart: The Wolf You Feed!

Curseborne is a game about being unaplogetic monsters in a world where being monstrous is the least of your worries. BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of the Curseborne Jumpstart to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. You may have submitted feedback during the draft manuscript phase - anything submitted now will be added to that list to help the team finalize the PDF for release and prepare for the softcover print run.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the CurseborneJumpstart Feedback Form!
They are aware of any Page XX notations - those are left in to replace for the final version once any changes you've suggested are made, so they can reference the correct page if any shifts in layout result.
Onyx Path will keep errata collection open for one week only. Please submit your feedback as soon as possible so the team can get on to finalizing this file - and working on our print version as well!
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), they will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

BACKER SURVEYS
Over the next handfulof days (May 20 - May 22), you’ll receive an email from Onyx Path (via [email protected]) with a special link to your Pledge Manager survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey (although you probably already have one from pledging to this campaign). When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey invitation link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available laterthis week via email!
The e-mail will have a button that looks something like this:
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts, and that won't happen until the books are being prepped for backer distribution.

If there are any issues you find with the Pledge Manager, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know. It rolls out in waves so that I can correct issues on the fly and make it work as best possible as people come on board.
I've been mostly in a zombie state over the pst few weeks, and the chances of a few errors in the Pledge Manager set up are ... greater than zero ... so let me know if you see something off and I'll fix it as quickly as possible.

From the Pledge Manager welcome page you can choose to
Review Your Pledge Level and Rewards by clicking your Pledge Level title
Start Your Survey, confirming pledge rewards, confirming or selecting new Add On options, and confirming any shipping and payment info that may be needed
Switch Your Pledge Level
If you click on your Pledge Level, you will see a list of all items included in your Pledge Rewards (including Stretch Goals and the Draft Manuscript), and also have the option to switch your Pledge Level, in case you've decided to get the corebook combo pledge instead of a PDF-only pledge tier for example.
Once you've confirmed that your Pledge Level is correct and where you want it to be, you can GETSTARTED with your BackerKit Pledge Manager Survey.
PLEDGE QUESTIONS
There are a couple of moving pieces that I've added for this one.
As noted, the goal is to get the Curseborne Jumpstart backer PDF out to you quickly, and then get the softcover book in production. If all goes well, it could possibly deliver to our fulfillment partners in a timeframe that might make it possible to ship the softcover with the Curseborne hardcover books that many of you pledged for during that Kickstarter campaign.
If you backed the Curseborne corebook Kickstarter campaign and pledged for the softcover book Printed Start pledge, you'll have an option on your survey to get the softcover from this campaign moved over to the pledge manager for the Curseborne corebook and shipped together. It's a manual process, and I think I can swing it, but want to make sure I'm only adjusting those orders were I have your approval to do so. We'll see how it all goes, and I'll keep you updated as I work on it.
Anyone who pledged to the Corebook Start Print combo is set to receive a standard hardcover version of the Curseborne corebook. In your survey, you'll have the option of trading up to the Deluxe and paying the difference. Just making sure options are available for backers.
Once we've got a fair response to our survey and collected a reasonable amount of info, I'll be working on fulfilling rewards that are available now - like the PDFs of the titles included in our Add On section (those are the Curseborne corebook PDF, the Storypath Ultra Core Manual PDF, the Tasty Bits Omnibus PDF, the Accursed Adventures PDF, the Accursed Tales digital fiction anthology, and the Onyx Path jumpstart assortment PDF bundle). Those will likely be coming to you by the start of next week, and I'll send another update with more info when that time comes.
So, in summary:

Confirm your Pledge Level (or SWITCH your Pledge Level if you want to change it)

I will post an update at next week as I begin outlining the delivery of our first Add On rewards (the existing title PDFs, as noted above) and beginning distribution of those PDF rewards.
THE WOLF YOU FEED - A CURSEBORNE JUMPSTART
Our main reward, the Curseborne jumpstart, is currently in proofing. I anticipate sending out the Backer PDF for this very soon - like before the end of the month. Because it's coming so quickly, I'm not going to worry about setting up a new download for the manuscript - the downloads we featured during the campaign are availble to backers at the bottom of this page on the Crowdfunding website. Soon, we'll have the Backer PDF as our primary source!
COMING NEXT
Either at the end of this week or start of next week I'll send an update with details about the distribution for that first wave of existing digital rewards.
At the end of June we'll begin our regular monthly check-ins, tracking the progress of this project as it moves through this phase. It'll take some time, but we'll have regular updates all through the process. I'll also have notes on how to check the weekly and monthly All Project Progress updates on Onyx Path's website.
