In Jadestorm, you play as a character blessed or cursed to inherit the Jade of a fallen infernal being: one of the Malefic. You will have found a master, or he might have found you, and in your teachings you will have discovered the scope of just some of your capabilities. The world would appear open to a being such as you, until other Jadebearers enter view. Some become firm friends, lifelong companions, even lovers. Others become rivals, hated enemies, and those who would snatch the Jade from you.
Vengeance and glory call to Jadebearers. For where there is Jade, calamity, wonder, dissonance, and glory follows. Another Jadebearer might have put your village to the torch, abducted your family, or whisked your love away to a far off realm. The unexplored Wilds beckon you, with opportunities for great discoveries and horrific nightmares laying in wait.
Jadestorm is a game of epic characters living within epic proportions of possibility. Every wuxia, xianxia, and jidaigeki epic, fantasy adventure, and journey into the unknown inspires your stories, your characters, and this game. Ultimately, Jadestorm is a tale about how you gain power, you lose people, and maybe, if you strive hard enough, you might end up with more than you started with.

This book contains the following chapters, providing you everything you need to establish your Jadestorm legend:
Chapter One: The Jadestorm. The world of Eos exists in tumultuous times. The Infernal Sovereigns — the demons and devils who once reigned over each of Eos’ realms — have been unmade, the fragments of their godlike forms crashing into earth, seas, monsters, and people in a hail of jade meteorites. What have emerged from that Jadestorm, and the Jadestorms that have followed, are the Jadebearers.
Chapter Two: Paths Into the Jadestorm. As the inheritor of an infernal cinder, you bear the life of a mortal, the power of the Malefic, and the training of someone caught between two existences. These pieces of yourself are the Paths you walk
Chapter Three: Character Creation. Characters in Jadestorm have the power of gods and demons coursing through their blood and their spirits.
Chapter Four: Storypath Ultra System - designed to enable action-oriented gameplay, where each action drives the story forward in three main areas - action-adventure, investigation, and influence;
Chapter Five: Jade Powers. The Jadebearers of Eos possess a combination of powers, known as Edges, Sorceries, and Chains.
Chapter Six: The World of Eos. This world is grand and filled with hopes! A treasure here, a hidden shrine there… new discoveries await around every hill and beneath every bushel!
Chapter Seven: Storyguide Mastery. This chapter contains advice, pre-written stories, and sample settings for you to master the art of Storyguiding Jadestorm
Chapter Eight: The Hundred Tribulations. There are several antagonists presented in this chapter ready to be used in a game, along with rules and guidelines for making your own.
Appendix I and II: A listing of Edges, Sorceries, and Chains, as well as a list of Tricks available to the characters of Jadestorm.
The primary purpose behind this crowdfunding campaign is to enable Onyx Path to create a fully-developed PDF and two hardcover versions of Jadestorm. With your support we create a standard full-color hardcover book, which will be sent out as a reward to backers and also made available to game and hobby stores through Onyx Path's distribution partners. In addition, we want to create a limited edition deluxe version, with special cover design featured on a leatherette cover and a bound-in bookmark that'll be available only through a special pledge tier.
Exceptional funding may allow the Jadestorm team to investigate and describe some of the setting in further detail via short fiction, or even prepare characters and a starting adventure to help launch your game. Additional support will provide Onyx Path with inspiration and resources to unlock even more reward options!
Beyond those campaign-specific goals, the hope is to do what these games have always done — build a community invested in each other's stories and shared imagination. Every person who participates is joining with the goal of bringing this game into the world, and that common goal is a powerful binding element that we can't help but want to share. PRODUCTION TIMELINE: Despite having a robust written draft and some of the artwork and design already completed, the game will take time to produce. We're aiming to have the first Backer PDF out to supporters by October 2027, and the hardcover book reward out to backers by March 2029. We hope to deliver before these dates, but are aware of the challenges that may arise during production, so have attempted to incorporate some flexibility in the schedule. We will keep you notified of the progress on these rewards through regular BackerKit updates each month, and via the Onyx Path website.
All participants who would like to make this project happen can pledge their support and add to the overall campaign total. If the campaign meets the funding target ($10,000), then we will have funded the project and it will become a reality. Your pledge will only be collected if we achieve our funding target.

JADESTORM BACKER PDF - Crowdfunding backers will receive a redemption link for an early version of this book before it goes on sale to the public. This initial "Backer Version" will be used to get feedback from the fans to make the final version the best that it can be. When it has been updated to the final version, it will automatically be added to your DriveThruRPG library and available for download at your convenience.
JADESTORM HARDCOVER BOOKS - The main goal of this campaign is to fund the creation, production, and print run of a standard and limited edition deluxe hardcover editions of this book. THE WORLD BELOW (Corebook PDF) is a game of adversity, heroism, terror, and awe. Your characters will overcome or be defeated by terrible beasts, environmental calamities, and Kaos storms ravaging their surroundings and the souls around them. They will chart their journeys, chronicle their tales, and pass their stories down to their descendants, who will in turn become your characters when your old ones perish or retire.
AT THE GATES(Corebook PDF) is a high fantasy tabletop roleplaying game about burgeoning heroes struggling to survive, fighting for what’s right, exploring dangerous places, and saving the world. You play as heroes who have chosen to buck the status quo and try to change the course of things. Your characters may attempt to change the course of the war, delve into the secrets of daemons and the Void, fight against tyranny to protect what they love in the world, fight to restore balance to Gaia, or all the above.
MONSTER KINGDOMS (Corebook PDF Pre-Order) in this game, you play as a creature of darkness. You may be vampiric magus, or feyborn harlequin. You might be a warrior gauntlet, an orc cultist, a druidic elf, or a flame-spitting dragonkin. You can play a wildly creative goblinoid, a chaotic dwarf, a fierce ice elementor, or a shame-filled fiend. Your characters can be anything from hulking dreadnauts to disturbing mentalists, and many Mantles in between.
The STORYPATH ULTRA CORE MANUAL PDF presents a way for you to use Storypath Ultra to power whatever world you have in mind. We’ve created this book so anyone can use Onyx Path’s system for their own private tabletop game sessions. Many people over the years have talked about how they hacked one of our games into different shapes to play in their favorite worlds, so this book is here to allow us to give you advice on how to build your game using Storypath Ultra from the ground up.
As we increase the overall funding and support for the project, we’re able to add additional resources to the project, expand the rewards listed, and add in new offers and opportunities. Each Stretch Goal will have a target that, once reached, will add a project to the reward list for backers of the relevant Pledge Levels. Whenever we achieve a stretch goal, the listing will be updated to reflect the achievement.
Shipping has become increasingly expensive and is often prohibitive to non-US backers. Several contemporary publishers have decided to discontinue international shipping completely. For this project, Onyx Path wants to keep all options open to our customers, though shipping costs will reflect the expense.

Again, we will be charging the actual costs via our BackerKit pledge manager once the books are preparing to ship. At this time, there's a lot of speculation about what that may mean, and while we acknowledge the volatility of the market, we'll do our best to find the most reasonable delivery solutions.
*Orders to Brazil will be shipped with tracking numbers once only. Should the order become lost in customs processing or during last-mile delivery within Brazil, we'll need full payment of a second order before any re-ships can take place. At this time, we can only ship books to Brazil.
Orders to the EU include projected Low Value Parcel handing fees. Any additional duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Look into a freight forwarding service that can give you a US-based shipping address and get packages delivered to it and forwarded to you.
After the campaign is over we'll launch our Pledge Manager and invite the backers to set up their rewards via survey. This allows you to confirm your pledge and add on anything that you might have missed, as well as possibly increasing your pledged reward tier, should you choose to expand your reward selection. Funding collected by BackerKit after the crowdfunding campaign does not count toward any campaign Stretch Goals, however.
After the Crowdfunding campaign, in the Pledge Manager, you 'll be able to:
Review and update your Pledge Level selection - for example, you can pledge to the Stormcloaked Korran level during the Crowdfunding campaign and then switch to the Shadowed Ara level once we know shipping costs and are preapring to fulfill the hardcover rewards
