Project Update: August 2026 Bi-Monthly Update
Hello Shard-striders,
As a reminder, after some backer voting in June, we've switched up to a bi-monthly schedule. So, you'll still be getting regular updates from me, they'll just come every other month. That's mostly because Onyx Path is working on their hardcover print backlog, but it's gonna take some time to sort through and catch up, so most of our updates will be pretty similar and boring. But if anything important pops up, you know I'll break the schedule to tell you as quickly as possible.

Rich talked about the challanges they've had with getting predictable printing costs and how they're working to get their backlog sorted over the next year in a recent Monday Meeting Notes. The TL;DR summary is they've got a handful of books to get into production once the current project is finished (which is still underway) and they may be doing a couple of books at a time to move through the titles, but he won't announce an order or what's in production until it's actually underway to keep expectations in check. So, there's work being done and we'll know when we see Mythic Shards going to press, but that's still some time ahead of us.
Pending Projects
The Onyx Path crew is focused on getting print projects queued up for the next year's catch up blitz, but I'll continue to poke them and see if they can find any spare moments to get some of our smaller stretch goal rewards out to us.
