August 2026 Update - Moving to Bi-Monthly Schedule
Hello Argonauts,
I don't have any big updates on the progress of our project this month. Because our updates have been pretty much the same for a long period, I'm going to switch up the frequency that I post them.
Here are my plans as we navigate updates for these final rewards:
When will the Trinity Continuum: Aegis hardcover rewards be ready? Currently, Onyx Path has just finished shipping out one project, have two more at the printer right now, and then plan to work through their backlog over the next year by possibly printing two or more projects at a time. To manage expectations and keep things flexible, Rich has said that he won't be providing a schedule or list of which projects he expects to go in what order, but we'll know as stuff actually is in process at the printer. So, we'll continue to have five dots in patience as we wait for the Aegis book to get manufactured. The second I have any concrete news, I'll share. In the meantime, your best source is direct from the horse's mouth: Rich's weekly Monday Meeting Notes Blog and Onyx Path's monthly progress report.
When will the Aegis Atlas be ready? I think we've still got a bit of a wait for that one. Some other Trinity Continuum projects have had artist rotations and re-assignments as avilability and reliability have shifted, and that's affected other project in the queue. So I think it'll be a bit before we see dots filling in for layout and proofing before the reward is distributed to us.
When will the digital and mobile wallpapers be ready? For these wallpapers, I think they'll just appear one day. These are usually based on the artwork from a Storyguide Screen, though they have different dimensions and formatting, so may pop up at different times. Really, it's just about finding the time to hammer them together, and when the Onxy Path crew find that moment, these should come together quickly.
My challenge for the next few months is to post practically the same update over and over again without being annoying. I don't think there's a wayfor me to do that. So, here's my plan for future updates:

Bi-Monthly Schedule - as long as the status for all rewards remains the same, I will post our regular update every other month. Our next update will come in October.
Again, I'll only do that if there's nothing new to announce. If there's movement on any of the rewards, I'll update as soon as I have something to share rather than waiting two months to fill in a dot.
Does that make sense? I hope so. If anyone has better ideas, let me know. I want to make sure that you know the project is still alive and moving toward completion, but I don't want to tread on your patience more than I already have to share "no change, still in progress" updates. Cool?

Has everyone dreamed up a new campaign since watching The Odyssey? I gotta admit, I haven't made it out to see it yet - this month has been something of my own personal Odyssey. But I'm hoping to get out while there's still an IMAX screen available. Time is running out for that quest, but our main quest still continues...

Rich talked about the challanges they've had with getting predictable printing costs and how they're working to get their backlog sorted over the next year in his lastest Monday Meeting Notes. The summary is they've got a handful of books to get into production once the current project is finished (which is still underway) and they may be doing a couple of books at a time to move through the titles, but he won't announce an order or what's in production until it's actually underway to keep expectations in check. So, there's work being done and we'll know when we see Aegis going to press, but that's still some time ahead of us.

I have no big updates to announce on our project. We've got a big stretch goal in early Art Direction still and a couple of smaller stretch goals that shouldn't take too much time to piece together, and our screens and hardcover rewards need to have Onyx Path's print queue all ironed out. I can tell you that Onyx Path switched to a new printer at the end of last year and so far they've tested out the process with one deluxe hardcover book and one standard hardcover book, and they're lining up a multi-format project next. When that's all locked and loaded, they should have a pretty good understanding of the process for each kind of project and will hopefully be able to get more detailed with their print plans. But that's all for discussion at much higher levels than me. I'll pass along any info I find out.

We're still in a print/production holding pattern, circling overhead as the Onyx Path team figures out how to build out their print schedule. They've successfully completed production and fulfillment with their new printing and distribution partners, so there's a process template to apply as they go forward, and a few projects have already joined the queue, but not this one just yet.

Here's the TLDR for this month's update: No big changes, Onyx Path is still sorting their catch-up print queue now that they've got a new partner and have finished the process for their first project with them.

It's been almost 3 years since I paid to help fund this project and I have lost track of when it is supposed to ship. Can someone update me? While I appreciate the regular updates, the project infographic is of little use without dates attached to it. I have to go back through past us dates just to see what has changed. Also there is no legend on it. What do the black dots with white centers mean?
