Hello Darkness, my old friend!

And hello Lightbringers! There's no need to be afraid of the dark when we're together! And together, we'll shed some more light on the scary environs that are The World Below!

The World Below corebook covers a lot of ground (or digs deep into the ground, as it were), but you know there's more to find in the fringes of the darkness, and more terrifying threats in the World Below.

Welcome to The World Below: Buried Treasure - two new books further exploring the World Below setting and game. Inside each you'll find not only more options for your characters - new Dawns, Dialectics, and Callings - but new systems for crafting, harvesting, generational play, machinery, beast taming, fishing, and more! Plus each book has a ready-to-run scenario to tread new frightning paths in the dark.

In the most general terms, The Delver’s Guide is a Player's Manual for The World Below while Secrets of Kalm and Kaos is a Storyguide’s Handbook for The World Below. But I think you'll quickly find that both books offer a ton of new material for everyone to use in their World Below games.

My name is James, and I’ll be your Onyx Path Crowdfunding Concierge for this fun new project - The World Below - Buried Treasures, the latest rules options and setting expansions for The World Below tabletop roleplaying game. Including new options, new rules, new systems, and new scenarios plus more! There's a lot of options to add to your World Below game within these pages.
 
I’ll be updating the campaign as we go, sharing the draft mansucript previews, answering questions, and providing support wherever needed as best I can.

I’ll note that I’m not part of the creative team on this project – so I won’t be able to immediately answer some of the more intricate rules or design inquiries – but having me manage this Crowdfunding campaign allows Matthew and the World Below crew to keep their focus on the awesome projects that they’ve got in the works.

That said, feel free to make me your point person for any questions or issues you may have. I'll make sure to dig up answers as quickly as possible and clear up any issues that arise. Mostly, I'm just looking forward to an exciting ride along with all of you on this project.

Our comment section is for all members of this community – united by our shared desire to see this project fund and develop – to cheerlead the project and figure out how best to spread the word about what we’re building here. The previews will come out in mangeable sections throughout the campaign. This helps me seem interesting over the next 28 days, but it's more about guiding the conversation and helping steer feedback for the developers.

Because they want your feedback! These manuscript previews are of the current draft manuscript – the document in its latest, approved form. This may not be the final form after editing and any additional development, but you can consider it about 95% finished, so keep that in mind.
