Mayaa Kitties are a way for me to honor my soul kitty Mayaa who passed away in March 2022 during my birthday weekend. I got Mayaa and his brother Keif (who has also since passed away) in June 2007 as my first cats right after graduating high school. Both of them were with me for the majority of my adult life.
Mayaa was very much my soul kitty. He was very smart and listened when I told him no or to go to a certain room. He was always a cuddle bug. And he loved to groom me and his brother. He always wanted to be doing what I was doing. And he loved to play in boxes or paper bags. Though he hated getting his photo taken, same as me really. I miss my boy every day and specially this time of year (March).
