Just a quick update from us on the physical release!
We have just received notification that books have arrived in the US and, after they have cleared customs, will be making their way to our distributors so they can start the fulfilment process! We are hoping that this process goes quickly and smoothly, but know that due to the recent import changes and tariffs, there have been noticeable slowdowns. We are keeping an eye on everything and will send out another update once the books arrive with our distributors and physical fulfilment can begin.
The Founding
Now onto some juicy lore for L.A.N.C.E, and a special reward for one of our Backers, Mr Steel! As part of their very special pledge, they have been worked into the lore of L.A.N.C.E! We decided that the perfect place for this would be at the Founding, taking place during the Napoleonic Wars when L.A.N.C.E become a fully fledged international agency. One of the key figures here was Sir Steel, a knight of the order who was instrumental in driving back the forces of the Undead League. Other chief figures present were the head of the order, Sir Gawain, representatives from the Komainu, Viktor and Arabella Van Helsing, and the Chief Librarian of the Alexandrian Order - Kafele Salah. Others joined the agency as time went on, but these were those present at the founding of the agency as it is now known in the modern world.
This unique piece of art has been beautifully illustrated by Ben to show this important moment in the agency's long and storied history (and printed and framed version will be on its way to Mr Steel!).
