Hey everyone!
First of all, I want to thank everyone that's followed this campaign pre launch. There are many more of you than I would have anticipated considering how few pre-launch updates I have made. I greatly appreciate the support and enthusiasm for this project!
Unfortunately, I made some miscalculations when I jumped into doing this campaign....
TL;DR version of the update: I took on too many obligations and something other than my sanity has to give, so I'm temporarily postponing the launch of this campaign until life calms down. That being said, I do plan on making this series of stickers in the future, either through backerkit or Etsy as pre-orders, so continue to keep an eye out here for future updates, including sticker (and other product?) designs, polls, etc 💛

The details: The graduate school application cycle has started (I'm applying to Planetary Science and Geology programs!) and I have a lot to get done before the deadlines at the start of December. I have a few other projects and obligations to finish over the next few weeks too and it was just starting to stack up on me faster and heavier than I had anticipated.
I thought I'd at least be able to get a few simple sticker designs drawn out in time for the campaign to launch but I don't think it's happening. Additionally, the international shipping situation is a confusing mess and I don't know enough about how backerkit does or does not handle US domestic or international taxes/fees to feel comfortable navigating it right now.

I still want to make this sticker series, even if it's not part of The Super League of Science event, and I'll continue to post updates here as I get designs drawn. I'm going to tentatively shoot for a late November launch, but only if I have my applications finished. I think US orders will be managed via Backerkit and international orders will be done via Etsy, likely with a follower exclusive discount code or something. I don't know, I'll figure out the details later and keep you all posted.
