Last Thursday, you all helped this campaign succeed!  Since then, I've taken a few days to rest and also to complete the finalized design for the most popular option for the Stretch Goal sticker.

I hope you all enjoy the final version of the freebie sticker!  The other two designs that were in the running may show up in my Etsy shop at a later point, but for now, ALL Backers of this campaign will be getting a freebie sticker of this design included in their pledge items!

The only thing you need to do is fill out your surveys (once they're sent out) to make sure you recieve your freebie.  Those who do not have physical rewards will be able to choose whether or not they'd like to pay shipping for their freebie or if they'd prefer to skip out on the freebie instead of needing to pay shipping for it.

Timeline of Next Steps

• End of September - The funds transfer!  I'll be opening up the Pledge Manager / Late Pledge Shop as soon as the funds transfer. 
  
  This Late Pledge Shop will be open for one week so that folks can pick up any extras they might've forgotten and late pledgers can have one final chance to hop in at the campaign price before the "Sworn Servant" prints goes up to $45 and is only available via my Patreon Secret Shop.
  
  
• Early October - The Pledge Manager closes.  I'll be locking surveys so I can take final manufacturing counts at this point so I can order all the supplies needed to fullfill this project.
  
  
• Mid through Late October - Fulfillment begins!  I plan to have everything shipped by end of October.
  
  
• The Official Cut-Off Date - I'll be processing any requested refunds until the end of the year, December 31st.  After this date, I will not be offering refunds for this campaign to noncommunicative backers.  (If this cut-off date changes for any reason, I will let you all know!)

Hello All! Thank you so much for being an early follower to my project. Here is a little update on how things are going leading up to the official launch on October 2nd. Read on to learn about my process and how to get a free sticker.

We are nearing the official spooky month. The golem stickers are, I would argue, spooky-adjacent. What with their 1/16 of a soul and protectiveness, I see them as cute with the potential for spice. You can read my Story on here for a more in depth examination about these golems and the mythology of golems. As of today, all of the designs have been solidified, now it is just a matter of bringing them to life. So far two are set. The third needs a few more details, and the fourth sketch is done and ready to go once I am finished with the third. But that's a bit too theoretical for an update (lol). So here are some pics and blurbs to get you excited instead:

The designs started with a few sketches I made a while ago (a few months) with no real plan.  If you have seen the stickers I've revealed already you will notice that two of these designs made it to the final round!

The other two designs (the big boy to the far right and the T-pose dude on the top left) were considered for sticker creation but ultimately I decided to go in another direction leading to these sketches:

The collaboration with fellow Sticker Party member Corey, who created the Fragmentations of the Wretchcavern stickers, is well underway as well but we aren't quite ready to reveal those yet ;). Just be prepared for some truly spooky work 😈. What I can show you is the free 1" x 1" incentive sticker I've created. This sweet boy will be included--for free!--for anyone who backs 3 projects from Sticker Party. You will receive incentive stickers from the other two projects as well.

We are only one week away from the big day: the project goes live with Printopia 2026, on September 10th!

I've been working on the stretch goals, in the last update I asked you to vote on which stretch goals you would prefer and there was a draw between planners and small art prints (postcard size) 🥹
So you made the choice, and I'll deliver it!

I'll be working on at least another planner design (weekly view instead of a monthly one). ☺️

But let's talk about the book now!

What's Inside? 

• 30 unique illustrations;

• Small introductions of each character and some fun facts!

• A make your character page! With a blank ID page for you to fill in and a page to add your own feline drawing, feel free to self insert your own cat friend or your favorite character :)

Book Features

• The coloring book is square shaped and measures 21 x 21cm (approximately 8.3 x 8.3 inches);

• Single-sided pages to prevent ink bleed-through from ruining your work on the reverse side;

• With a soft-touch matte cover;

• Internal pages of extra white premium paper - 160 g/m² (approximately 108 lb);

The initial goal of the project is to achieve 1750€, with this amount we will be able to produce the physical coloring book!
The initial goal is higher than the ones in my last 2 backerkit projects, so I'm a bit nervous about it, but I want the book to feel premium and the thick pages are a MUST since I know a lot of you like to use markers for coloring books.

Hopefully we will be able to reach that goal and even unlock some of the stretch goals 🫣

The Art Journey Begins

As a treat for those keeping up with this project, I wanted to give you a glimpse into how I made this painting over the course of this campaign.  I've put together a series of 1 minute videos showing the process from idea to final!  Starting with thumbnail sketching:

Even before I got to the point of exploring thumbnail sketches, I did a fair amount of pondering on what the main character of "Cassiel's Servant", Joscelin Verreuil, should look like.  Here's a peek at my pondering from my Secret Sketchbook:

I also fan cast Bill Skarsgard for Joscelin after seeing him kick butt in the movie "Boy Kills World", where his agility, physique, and martial prowess really impressed me. 

Kushiel fans, who do you fan cast for Joscelin?  By the end of the painting process, my version of Joscelin came out a mixture of Bill Skarsgard and Liam Hemsworth.
