Project Update: Some Fun Facts<3

Hey all!
I received a couple of great questions and I thought the answers would be nice to share in an update!<3

Firstly, a big fact about the pins! The rainbow pins are all going to be anodized metal, which means they'll be soft enamel with an epoxy coating<3 The gold pins will have gold plating, and will be hard enamel!

Second, some pin lore<3 For those that have been around since the beginning of my journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Some of you may have recognized the add-on pin, 'As Above, So Below', from one of my first campaigns! I have always adored that design and the meaning behind it, but as the years have passed and I've grown as an artist, I felt like I could do more with it. So AASB 2.0 was born! Here is a comparison from the old vs new design. Along with the parts that were redrawn, I also added recessed metal details and screen printing. I hope you guys like her!<3

Another pin got a revamp that was probably way harder to recognize. Years ago, during the same campaign as AASB, I released a pin called Cosmos! She was cute and sweet, but again I felt like I could do more now. I loved the concept, but wanted to push it further. So Galaxy was born! Here is a comparison of those two<3 As you can tell, a lot more got changed here than AASB!

Lastly, someone asked for some reference photos of how the rainbow metal will turn out<3 These photos are from my second ever pin collection that came out years ago, and I wish I took more pictures of the wide range of colors the rainbow metal can achieve! The color shifting effect can range from blues, greens, purples, golds, and pinks. It's a beautiful plating! And makes each pin 100% unique. I'm not a skilled product photographer unfortunately, but google has some pretty awesome example pics of anodized metal pins<3
