PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: When you gain a core clue, but it costs you Sanity
Thanks to everyone who sent over typos and edits from our previous update. I made all of those changes to the files, and got ready to export them for the printers & for the final-final files for you... and then discovered that the very clever and expert way Moonblade Creations has set up the files is unknowably beyond my ken. So, I've had to send the masters back to Moonblade for the final tweaks and typo fixes. I'm not sure what their timescales are like, but I'm optimistic it shouldn't take more than a week.
Once I get the final files from them, I'll be distributing them here, on DriveThruRPG, and on our own website.
In the meantime, I've set up the add-on PDFs here, and on DTRPG. We've had some questions about the core books, and I anticipate even more questions from this distribution (email us at [email protected] if you're missing anything, or something looks off).
If you're not a Backerkit creator, and are wondering how this works, I've done a screen recording of part of the process, which you can watch here (be warned: it's quite dull!)
For those of you who've notified us of a different DTRPG email address, we'll be sending you complimentary copies via a DTRPG email as well as the automated distributions here.
I'll be back to you soon with the final-final-final PDFs.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: The Shadow Over the PDFs
Hey all,
We're finalising the Kingsbury Horror pre-gens at the moment, and preparing the API to integrate Backerkit with DriveThruRPG, as well as the import list for the webstore.
A couple of people have flagged up typos and issues in the PDFs. It would be great to collect all of these in one place so that we can update the PDFs before we do the final uploads, and make sure they're corrected in the final books. I've set up a Google form for this, so to submit your feedback, please complete this form.
To view the typos already received, you can check out this spreadsheet, here.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: ...or so we thought.
What appeared on the surface to be a simple ritual of distribution has revealed itself to be a many-limbed thing, sprawling across four separate platforms, each with its own arcane requirements and inscrutable demands.
In other words: the core book PDFs, as well as the map pack and Boundary of the Darkness, are available now on Backerkit. From Monday, I'll be adding those to the Pelgrane webstore and Bits and Mortar; then finally, figuring out how the new DriveThruRPG API works and getting them up there.
After that, I'll be adding everything else in the same order: on here, on the PP webstore, on Bits and Mortar, then on DriveThru.
While the process has greatly eroded my Sanity, my Stabilty has kept me steadily feeding files into the all-consuming maw of the machinery. I'm making steady progress and expect the remaining files to reach you over the coming days. I'll post again once everything is out, so you'll know when to check your libraries.
Apologies again for the optimistic timeframe in my last update. These things seem so simple, until you start to do them...
~Cat
P.S. Some people are having a hard time finding said PDFs; Backerkit talks you through how to do this on this page: https://help.backerkit.com/article/662-where-can-i-find-my-digital-downloads

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: The Forbidden Texts Are Made Manifest
A few weeks later than anticipated (2000-odd page XX references are a lot to link up), we've finished the final PDFs. To that end, we've set backer surveys to be locked in 48 hours, so we will charge cards for add-ons and shipping early next week (Monday, July 20th).
Once your order is paid, you'll have access to the final PDFs of everything you've ordered - pledge tier items and add-ons - instantly here on Backerkit. We'll also be distributing the PDFs through DriveThruRPG using the new Backerkit link functionality, and importing all the orders to the Pelgrane Press webstore.
Once the surveys are locked, you'll need to get in touch with us directly if you want to add something to your pledge; however, you'll still be able to change your shipping address right up until we post to let you know that we're about to start shipping.
As always, let us know if you have any questions here or to support at pelgrane press dot com.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Slowly, the stars begin their alignment...
We're very close now.
- The core book(s) indices are done, and in a draft layout, and Ken has added comments on the draft layout!
- We have a draft character sheet (you can view it here) - let us know what you think in the comments!
- We've got core book cover drafts!
- We are a week or two away from getting the final PDFs to you, and getting the core books to the printers!
- We'll be adding shipping to your pledges at the end of June, and charging cards at that point!
- A week or so later, we'll then lock pledges!
All of which is to say, now's a good time to double-check your shipping address is correct, your card details are up-to-date, and you're not leaving behind any add-ons!
Once we send out the PDFs, you can access them in three different ways:
- On Backerkit - go to your active projects, and click on the "View order" link next to Trail of Cthulhu 2e
- On DriveThruRPG - you'll get an email from us with complimentary copies of your PDFs, which you'll then need to redeem in the DTRPG store
- On the Pelgrane Press webstore - if you already have a Pelgrane account with the email you backed with, your PDFs will be added to your bookshelf (you can register here if you don't).
And just so this isn't all text, here's a preview of Jen McCleary's Kingsbury Horror cover:
Till next time,
~Cat
