Baby Star September Update( Poll Results, Shipping, And More!)
Hi guys, this is a pretty big update, so let’s get into the meat of it!!
First off, the Poll! Thanks to over 56 votes I got on the most recent poll, I’m happy to say that the winner, with 66% of the votes, is The Baby Stars! Meaning: Series 2 of The Baby Stars has been Greenlit!!! Hurray!! Honestly, I’m not surprised; with the number of people asking for a series 2, it was bound to happen! Right now I’m still in the concepting phase, but of course Series 2 means the return of this little guy! I never forgot about him, and that's because you all made sure I didn’t lol!
Next Shipping!!! I’m happy to say that the plushies are on their way to me! Right now they’re in LA! I don’t have a specific date for when they’ll get here, but it should be any day now! Once they get here, I’ll start to lock people's shipping addresses! Once shipping is paid for by people, I’ll be able to send them out. Since I’m one person, I know none of you expect me to make and ship out over 100 plushies, so I’ll be shipping them over the month of September, and by the end, all plushies and items should be at their rightful homes!
Next Product Updates. I know this might be confusing, but I made some updates to items that will be included with plushies. First, I updated Aurora's keychain design; her design had my old keychain art, and I had enough time to update it! I hope you guys like her new look.
Along with the keychains, I made them their own custom packaging. Instead of using my usual item packaging, it will have its own unique look!
And at least what I think is most Important is Safety Info! All plushies will include a short safety advisory, targeted toward those who attend to give them to younger children.
I didn’t design the Baby Star Plushies to be for kids, but I do see the appeal they have to kids. Going to cons and showing them off, I saw how kids took quite a liking to them. Even though I put the age rating for the plush on the BackerKit page, I do want to do my due diligence and add Safety Info with the physical plush. The safety info outlines the age rating and the hazards it could pose to younger ones. Along with this, the safety info will also be available in Spanish as well.
Lastly, the next Baby Star Concept! With a series 2 in the works, that means more stars. The next Star I’ll be working on is Daydream Star! Hey, daydreams are technically dreams! But designing this star has been really hard, and I still don’t have a final version of his concept, kinda like how I have one with Jester. All the other stars make sense: Sweet Star: Pink and excited; Lavender Star: Purple and calm; even Nightmare: Black, red, and scary.
But Daydream is more complicated. How do you personify the idea of a daydream? If the idea of daydreams was a person, what would they look like? And tbh I have no clue.
Personally, people daydream when they’re bored, so with these first few sketches, I wanted Daydream to be themed after a hippie. I felt like that would make them appear more aloof and add to the calmness. But I’m not sure; if you guys have any ideas or feedback, let me know!

Hi guys! As you know from my previous update, the next Update would hopefully be me showing off some different plush ideas I had for the next BackerKit! Well, that update is today. I have a few new plush ideas I wanna share! And at the end of this update, there will be voting! Voting that is important! Voting that I need your help with.
Plush Idea 1: 🔥 Drago Girls 🔥 Drago Girls would be a collection of Pendant Plushies that would have cuties dressed up as a variety of different dragons. Altogether, the set will include 6, with 1 being a special secret design! The line would highlight a variety of different races, with the main goal being inclusion! Here's a rough sketch I came up with for one of the characters.
Plush Idea 2: 💗 Lolita Bunnies 💗 Lolita Bunnies would be another plush pendant line that would feature a variety of Bunnies wearing a variety of Lolita Fashion. For those of you who don't know, Lolita fashion is J fashion that is based off of victorian era and Rococo fashion. Lolita Fashion has a variety of styles, from Sweet to Gothic. Each Bunny would represent each of these styles. The set would include 6, with one being a secret! Here is a rough sketch I came up with for one of the styles, that being Princess Lolita!

Plush Idea 3: ⭐ Baby Star Plushies Series 3 ⭐ And as many of you know, I have thought of making a series two of my Baby Star Plushies. I think one of the reasons I was kinda hesitant to do that is that I always had more ideas, and I didn't consider the Baby Stars my magnum opus. Also, I think since with the originals I wanted them to fit together as a set, it kinda hindered anything out of the box. But with that said, if I do a series two, just know that the designs will be more out of the box, and I hope you guys will be okay with that. They'll still have the magnet component, but I kinda wanna make more Stars like sad and Jester Star. Yes, this baby's name is Jester Star, and they're from dreams that make you laugh out loud.

Hi guys, I’m sorry it’s been a bit since the last update. Plush production has been smooth sailing, with no major setbacks (at least not yet). We should still be scheduled for items to be shipped out in September!
This update is to announce a new project/ Backerkit that I’ll be releasing on Backerkit starting August 15th. That being an ⭐Alien Stage Enamel Pin Set. With add-ons including charms, stickers, and standees!⭐

Why This Instead Of Another Plush Backerkit Next?
My reasons for going this route for now are that I would like my next project to be something that’s easier to fulfill, and also a new way for me to make preorders for my shop.
Due to the stress of events, many negative experiences I’ve had with events, and the rising cost to attend as an artist. I’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to take a break from in-person events. I’ll be doing them less often. This is a big issue since cons make up a big source of my income. That’s why I’ll be experimenting more with getting income online through my art and projects.
Also, I still need to come up with my next plush design. When I first created the Baby Star plush line, I was surprised by how much love it got. I always wanted to branch out to other plush designs since, in some way, I didn’t consider the Baby Stars the best I could create. But with that said, I’ve heard how much you all love the line, so it’s something I will consider no matter what I choose to do.
Will This Project Affect The Fulfilment Of The Baby Star Plushies?
The answer is a loud NO! All that’s left to do now for the Baby Stars, while production on the plushies is being done, is the keychains and Birth Certificates. Other than that, all items are scheduled to be ready to ship in September. The only thing that could hold up the ship-out date is a delay in the plushies being made and shipped, which is still a possibility.

Update: Mass Production Underway!!! (Plus extra stuff)
Sorry, it's been a bit, but I'm back with a big update, that being Mass Production For The Baby Stars Is Underway!
Proof Of Mass Production: Sorry, I can't share more details, since sharing anything else would be me doxxing myself. Which is something I don't wanna do.
I know this was a long time coming, and I'm sorry for the delays in mass production. As I said before, I am a one-person team, and as cool as I feel about accomplishing things by myself, I am still one person, so what I do takes a lot of work—especially considering I have a day job as well!
With all that said, the manufacturer said production of the plushies will take 30 days, and another 30 days to ship the plushies to me. So we're still on time for the ship-out date being late September!
Also, I finished up my most recent con. Here are some photos I took from the event!
The reason I'm not saying the name of said events is that I didn't have the best time at it. If you follow me on my socials, then you probably already know the backstory. So if you're really interested in details, then check my Insta or Bluesky. But at the very least, I got to meet some incredible artists and some amazing voice actors as well. So the trip wasn't a total bust.

Hi guys, as I said in the last update, I wouldn't have anything until I had something really big to share! And I do! I'm happy to say that all the prototypes are done! Including the egg pouch!!!
Just to note, the egg pouch will still have the vinyl Window, but in this image, they forgot to add it in! It will also have a bigger key ring as well!! With all the babies officially done. Mass production is underway! Right now, I'm just finishing up the final order sheet and will send it over soon! Also Cards!!!
As you guys can see, all the cards are done! Including that gold foil! I'm sorry if the pics aren't the best; the weather is pretty bad today.
I'm happy with how everything's coming along, and I hope you guys are as excited as I am!

Overall, I'm happy with how it looks, but there are definitely changes to be made. Especially with the holding ring. I hate to say, but it looks like it's about to break off...
