Project Update: Quick Update - Sketches
Don't want to leave you hanging. Just a quick update to say the Legend of the Silver Colosseum will go out to you all tomorrow evening. We like to round out these adventures with some sketches throughout and I noticed we're missing 3. So those will go in tomorrow morning before giving it the final once over.

This is a small project. You don't need to keep making promises you can't keep. I'm sure it will be delivered soon and will be a good short adventure. Three times you have promised a specific date and then on that date not even given an update to say sorry delayed. The delays are trivial; it is a small project. But once again, if you aspire to do larger projects, you need to build some confidence you can manage it.

We've had our heads down here at Penny Dragon with multiple projects in layout over the last few weeks, Silver Colosseum being one of them.
We always look forward to the epic feedback we receive from so many of you after a PDF release. You've helped us implement changes that constantly improve the content we put out. And for that we are SO grateful!
I'll be back with another update to let you know that Silver Colosseum is fulfilled!

The campaign stated that it would deliver 21 days after completion, but on the 21st day there was not even a message to say sorry, slight delay. Now on Wednesday there was a message delivery in 48 hours, but 48 hours later again no message. This is a small project and I have no problem with it taking more time to deliver. But these deadlines were created by the project team, not backers, If you keep making commitments you cannot meet, and cannot even acknowledge, it doesn't give confidence in your ability to manage larger projects. While it is nice to be excited about delivering something new, less hyperbole and better basic communication please.

Not in a hurry to get this, but appreciate in the next update a realistic expected delivery date. Not a we were really close and now we are really really close; not a plug for new projects; just an honest update on what backers have already paid for. Hopefully not too much to ask.

Project Update: Project Update!
Hello Everyone!
Apologies for the lack of update on this campaign. It has been a busy (and tough) start to the new year and we've had a lot of processes to iron out as a team.
The incredible Nicci-Grace, our resident elf lorekeeper, is wrapping up the writing on Legend of the Silver Colosseum as we speak. The Unlock the Vault series is a little different from our usual one shots and it has taken a little longer for us to work out the structuring of these 8 new adventures.
I'll be able to update you again once this adventure goes to layout next week.
The good news is that we've built a solid foundation going forward and are eager to bring each of these keys to life!
One Dollar One Shots
On our previous update we spoke about balancing the considerable amount of work that goes into producing our 20+ page $1 One Shots and the fact that as much as we love doing them, we can't afford to produce projects of this size at that price point any longer.
Your input and feedback on the poll has been so kind, we really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
The thing is, so many of you let us know in our contact mailbox that you do still enjoy getting something fun for $1 and even if it were a smaller you think it would be fun.
Well, we want you to know we've heard you.
As an experiment to see whether it is something our community would like, we're launching a bite sized campaign entitled "One Shilling One Shots". Essentially a paired back version of our one shot campaigns, 4 pages of adventure including monster art and stat block, magic items and NPCs. Something we can continue to bring to the community for $1, but also a manageable size for us to produce at this price point.

Its 21 days after the campaign closed. Have the ethereal ships set sail on the internet (digital shipping)? Not concerned if the project needs a bit longer to deliver, update welcome.
Project Update: That's A Wrap!
You've Done It Again
You've unlocked a ton of extra goodies including the 4 Pre-Gen Character Sheets before this shorter campaign ended...and let's face it, we all know we're going to sneak a few extras in there too.
Our team is wrapping up a couple of outstanding adventures from our previous one shot campaigns such as Whispers Upon the Waves (which has proven a beast of an adventure - I promise it is worth the wait), the first key in the Unlock the Vault series - Tomb of the Undead King and getting this one shot to publication too. Along with a number of other mini adventures and Gizcog's magic item book.
We have an exceedingly busy January and February ahead, and we love it!
One Dollar One Shots
Our way of thanks to a community that pulled us through a lot of personal trials in recent years, trials I won't elaborate on here. It is no exaggeration that D&D and the love of this game saved us. That very community, all of you, lead us to the dream of building ttrpg books, of building Penny Dragon.
We'll be back in February with one final One Dollar One Shot campaign, bringing you the third key in the Unlock the Vault series - Haunting of the Everwood.
After this, we will continue to bring our one shots to the community at a much lower price point before they are released on our web store. However, they will no longer be $1.
Try as we may, we simply can't sustain the same level of quality without compromising our wonderful team of writers and artists. And this is a decision we've come to as a team.
We continue to value your support of these one shots campaigns and look forward to bringing many more adventures to your gaming tables.

Not everyone has the means to spend $30+ on adventures and we're grateful for the collaboration with the community in helping us share these campaigns here at such a heavily discounted price prior to their release on the website.
We want to make our adventures accessible to as many as we can, as often as we can afford to even as a small business.

Project Update: Fully Funded!
Thank you all for your ongoing support and enthusiasm for these One Dollar One Shots. It means so much to our small team that you are along for the journey.
And this time we have the journey all planned out with this Unlock the Vault series.
We can't wait to bring this second instalment to fruition, gathering the details of magic items languishing in the far-flung reaches of Andovan, furnishing you with all the nasty details of the monsters that lurk there, and most importantly, taking you on an epic adventure as you search for the next missing Keys to Aizendore's Vault.
If you missed out on the first instalment of this series, Tomb of the Undead King (for 4-6 characters of level 3) is available with the Warrior pledge tier. I highly recommend starting there and sticking with us as we progress through the series, increasing in level as we go. Plus, gathering all 8 keys is the only way to access Aizendore's fabled Vault and find treasures untold!
That said, this is a standalone one-shot and can be played as such or plugged into an existing campaign. We aim to make every One Dollar One Shot as versatile as possible so you can get what you need from it!
Now, let's race towards those stretch goals and see how much content we can get in your hands for just $1!

Here are some stats that I like to post for crowdfunding campaigns I back. I feel they are a good breakdown of goals, a snapshot in time, and also just fun to watch! I usually post once daily on weekdays, in the morning. I plan to post the new stats \under the same discussion\ until it gets buried.
