I hope you're enjoying your copies of The Morrigan's Veil. We've had some great feedback from a number of people already. We really value your input.

We're working on the next two One Shilling One Shot adventures at the moment and the team would love to know which one you'd like to see first. Get your votes in on the poll and we'll start prepping the next campaign page for whichever one comes out victorious!

Why Celtic?

While not all of these smaller campaigns will lean into Celtic mythology, the majority likely will.

And I'd love to tell you why.

As a company based out of Ireland and a team with ties to Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales, we'd like to lean into our heritage a little more and weave this into the adventures we create. Adventures that we hope will feed into our Celtic setting book that we're working on, Vagabond's Guide to Dalriada. This setting book means a great deal to us as a team and we look forward to having the playtest ready in the coming months.

Although the campaign for this one has ended, we still have the Pre-order store open for another while. If you'd like to check out the project you can find it HERE.

I just got The Morrigan's Veil back from layout. What was supposed to be A 4-page one shot turned into a 15-page one shot. It is a beast. 

Thank you so much for the support for this one shot experiment We LOVE the structure and the clickable functions that make it super navigable and a fun “Choose Your Path” type adventure. We never intended it to become such a behemoth in terms of page count, but we believe in terms of mileage, this one-shot should be playable in an evening.

We are on a steep learning curve here and always err on the side of giving our backers as much as we can without putting undue pressure on the team. It’s something we haven’t quite nailed yet, but we are getting there. Before we launch any further One Shilling One Shots we need to further refine these until they are at a length we can reasonably produce for $1.

But, we're delivering this beast as is - a gesture of our appreciation and excitement for this new structure and we hope you love it as much as we do! That said, going forward, the content will be reduced in line with what is reasonable for our team to achieve within the price point we're aiming for.

The PDF will go out to all of you tomorrow as Nicci would like to adjust one or two things before it passes her high lorekeeper standards.

We're excited to get this not so bite-sized one shot to all of you and we're eager to hear your feedback on the "Choose Your Own Adventure" approach we've taken to this.

This one really was an experiment and as we've seen when it went to layout we have a lot of work still to do on structuring it to make this viable as a $1 campaign. 

We don't do anything by half that's for sure. The team is still chuckling at the fact we designed this to be a 4-page adventure that somehow turned into 15 pages. What can I say, we love what we do haha

Morrigan's Veil is almost ready! It wen't off to layout yesterday and with it being a bite-sized project it will be completed later today and then off to you all as soon as it gets the seal of approval from our high lorekeeper, Nicci-Grace.

We've been thinking about what to do with these after the campaigns end and we'd love to get some feedback from all of you on the poll.
