First off I would like to thank all of you who have backed for blankets for being SO patient! I am now ready to get these in production so will set these to charge in 48 hours. 

Blankets will ship seperately to other items for international backers, they will be coming directly from the manufacturer so do not worry if your pledge items come in without your blanket (or vice versa!)

UK backers, I am getting your blankets sent to me in bulk and will dispatch them alongside your pledge items.

Blanket production should be quite quick, I will update again once they dispatch!

All pledges containing only enamel pins (excluding unicorn pin) and sweaters have been sent. Next I am moving on to pledges containing socks, sweaters and pins.

The unicorn pins are being remade as they weren't up to my meticulous standards so pledges containing those will be sent later in the month.

Canadian pals! I am holding on to your packages for the time being. Hopefully the strike will end soon and I can get them on their way, but if not I will send them via a private courier to avoid Canada Poste. 

The new blanket samples are finally here and they are beautiful!! 

I waited to charge cards for these as I wanted to make absolutely sure that the quality was perfect for you guys, and the new manufacturer has blown me away with how nice these are. They are 100% cotton, so super soft and weighty. The amount of detail in them is nuts, they're so satisfying and tactile - I can't wait for backers to get hold of them!!

The last thing I am waiting for now is to be sent an order form - once this arrives I'll initiate card charges and get the ball rolling on these! Should be any day now, and you will receive an email 48 hours before your card is charged.

For everyone else who hasn't backed for a blanket - your orders will start shipping from tomorrow! I am starting to pack orders and will be getting them on their way in batches. You will receive an email once your order is on the way, including tracking numbers, so make sure to add [email protected] to your safe sender list!

Hi gang, this one is a nice quick update! I have set up the tariffs for US based backers, these should cover the tariffs plus handling charges. You can view how this affects you in surveys! Latest info is that the infrastructure will be in place to send DPPD packages right away, so we can be confident this will be ready by the time the sock stock arrives. Phew!

You will be sent a 48 hour warning tomorrow that your card will be charged, and all pledges that do not contain blankets will be charged for on Friday 😊

Once my blanket samples arrive I will update the rest of you as to when your orders will be charged 💞

Hello everyone! 

Sweaters have arrived, pins have arrived and socks are on their way! The majority of the rewards for this campaign are finished so fulfilment can begin soon. 

Cards will be charged soon, I just need to set up the new BackerKit tariff feature - please see next section for information on this. I plan to do the admin for tariff set-up this next week, and I hope to charge cards on the 29th of August for all backers who do not have blanets in their pledges. You will receive an email 48 hours before cards are charged. Blanket backers will be charged a little later, as I am waiting for samples from a new manufacturer - please see below.

I am sure you have all seen the turmoil the new US tariffs are causing for small businesses across the globe. Most of my products are made in the UK, which means they will be subject to a 10% tariff. You will also have seen that a fixed tariff may be applied to some orders, which is a crazy amount, but if the tariffs are paid in advance this can be avoided! I have contacted Royal Mail, who handle my shipments, and they have confirmed they will be implementing a service where tariffs can be paid up front to avoid the fixed fines. Excellent! With any luck, this should all be in place by the time the rest of the stock arrives.

BackerKit have a new feature which will calculate and collect the tariffs automatically when cards are charged. This is immensely helpful, and means I don't have to do any maths which I appreciate! This has been added to the campaign, I just need to do the admin of applying the tariffs to each SKU. Once it is on there backers will be able to see at checkout which tariffs they will have to pay and how much they will be, I will wait for this to be added before charging cards so you can confirm before any additional funds are taken.
 
TLDR: Backers based in the USA will be charged for UK rate tariffs, but they will only be for 10% plus any handling fees the courier charges.

Exciting news! I have found a new manufacturer for blankets who has a much lower minimum order quantity. This means that they can all go ahead, hooray! The new manufacturer is US based, so no tariffs will apply to blankets, double hooray!! These will ship seperately to the rest of the rewards for US backers, as it makes no sense to bring them into the UK only to ship them back to the USA.

Blankets will now be 100% cotton, meaning they are softer to the touch and more environmentally friendly. My new supplier uses 25% recycled materials and are fully powered by solar energy - a much more planet friendly option all round!!

This means that if you have added a blanket to your pledge you will be charged for it and you will receive the design/s you have chosen 💞

Blanket backers will likely be charged slightly later than the 29th of August, as I would like to see the samples in person before charging you. In the unlikely even I am unhappy with the new supplier, I will have to return to my original one.

The following stretch goals are not going into production and have been removed from the campaign:

If you have added any of these to your pledge they have been removed automatically, you do not need to do anything 😊

If you backed for two sweaters during the main campaign, I have sent you an email with alternate options! If you are happy with your survey choices, there is no need to reply but if you would like to change reward tiers please reply by the 26th of August. This only applies to the 8 backers who pledged for the two sweater tier.

I hope that clarifies any queries, there is a lot going on in the world right now and it is often hard to keep track of but I will always do my best to keep my wonderful supporters updated.
