Production timing updates, packaging material upgrades, our review process.
Hi Backers quick update
Production is going well! Typhoons caused some delays for production. Aiming end of Sep production finalisation. We are overseas reviewing the bag production to ensure all the bags are created to our brief. We experienced delays last 2 weeks due to the typhoons in the production areas so we were unable to travel and materials were delayed getting to our production factory.
We are working as fast as possible to get these batch of bags done but also don't want to rush decisions to ensure bags don't have quality issues or miscommunicated parts. we are pleased with the production and quality control process of our new supplier so we are all good for production and working towards : - End of Sep: production of our bags - End of Oct: ocean delivery to our Australia warehouse ( 30 days) - Early to mid Nov : Delivery out to other countries.
Our production review journey so far
Interior and packaging upgrades with foam & custom box. Along the way we have upgraded parts of the bag internal materials and packaging to ensure extra safe delivery and this cost us a bit more time but hoping the end state is the best possible product and delivery experience for backers.
We know this boxes side window is precious so we dont want anything to happen during transit so we are investing extra time. Appreciate the patience and can't wait to get this across to you all.
