Series 3: Fabled Friends - Digby Dragon Plush · 170 following
In this campaign you'll be travelling with Digby Dragon, an adventure-loving green dragon! Along your route you will be unlocking fantasy-themed accessories and more plush companions. This is a new type of campaign, where you'll be choosing your own adventure - don't cheat and turn back the page, now...
After Digby is unlocked you will be travelling along a map on your way to the castle of Plushpania - where you have been requested to report for a very important event!

As you travel during your campaign, you will be voting on what direction on the map to go, and that will determine the next mystery stretch goal that will be unlocked! Don't worry, hints will be given before each vote so you'll have an idea of what to expect.

If you're new, welcome Wild One! Plushpanions is an eco-thoughtful plush brand, inspired by the love of nature, folklore and imaginative toys! Our plush companions are known by their heart-shaped paw pads, ability to sit on their own, and "them big ol' eyes".
Each Plushpanion is made with soft, hypoallergenic, recycled fabrics. Each plush companion can recycle the equivalent of 9 plastic water bottles! Their stuffing is also a hypoallergenic and plant-based material, PLA cotton - but don't get it twisted, these plushies feel classic, huggable, and are brimming with embroidered details.

Not only are these plushies consciously made, but they also have magnets at their hands and mouth to actually hold all of their fun props! All of their outfits even fit each other, so there are no more worries about an outfit only being available for one character - yes, even with Plushpanions that have horns or wings!

Digby and his fitted props are our main goal, for this campaign. There's just something about a little dragon that sets your heart soaring with imagination and adventure!

💛 Golden Digby Dragon - Only 10 Available! 💛 There is a special Backer tier available to only 10 backers, that will receive a one-of-a-kind Golden Digby Dragon! This version of Digby has all gold and yellow colorations, and aditionally a special sparkle shaped eyegloss that only the Gold Collection of Plushpanions will have.
This is the only opportunity that Golden Digby will be available, he will not make another appearance, so pledge fast to get this exclusive plush!

The other Special Edition plushies for our Series 3 campaign is 100 Digby's with a hexagon die eyegloss. This Special Edition applies to each unlocked character, where 100 of them will be made with this special eyegloss shape, while the Regular Edition will have the oval eyegloss shape.
For this campaign, we are changing it up a little! Usually it is automatically the first 100 people to pledge will receive the Special Edition eye gloss, however this time, you will be able to select your specific pledge for Special Edition, or Regular. Choose your Special Edition pledge fast, so you don't miss out! Special Editions are never crafted a second time.

The best part about Plushpanion accessories is that every outfit fits each character - yes, even with horns or wings! Plus, magnetic accessories make it possible to actually hold their fun props.

You won't just be finding Loot on your way, you'll be making new friends - Fabled Friends, that is!
As you choose your path to Plushpania Palace, you'll find friends who want to join you, or might need your help! Finding these friends will add them as Stretch Goals, and once the goal is met, they'll officially be the next Plushpanion character to be crafted!

*Digby and all accessories outlined in this project have already been prototyped and their production can begin immediately upon the completion of the campaign. All stretch goal characters and accessories, that are only in their illustration phase, could take up to 9 months of prototyping, before production. This is due to the complexity of the designs. These estimates account for global holidays. Pledges can only be fulfilled once all fulfilment items have been received - your support and patience is appreciated!

Plushpanions are crafted from soft, eco-friendly fabrics. Each plush recycles up to 9 plastic water bottles! Not to mention they have magnets at their mouth and hands, for endless fun. The props mentioned are wearable or holdable by all Plushpanions - yes, even with horns or wings!
I'm here with Digby's first ever update, and it's a great one! Although Digby is a complex design, which is the main reason for his unexpected delays, he is easily worth the wait.

I am over the moon with how he has turned out thus far! He has the cutest face, but I think his little yellow tummy is my favorite feature - simply because it makes me smile. 😊 Runner up is his ear frills, vaguely inspired by The Creature from the Black Lagoon. The embroidery will be changing to the same plush fur as the yellow tummy and wings, but I love the feature all the same.

I am so pleased with how he has turned out so far but, speaking of changes, here's the next batch of edits we are waiting on:
📝 Change the eyes to be complete embroidery, rather than the current fabric pupil. - To note: Color may not be as exact, but it will pop nicely! 📝 Change Digby's inner ear shapes from embroidery to fluffy yellow fabric, like the tummy. This should be on the front and back, not just the front. 📝 Change feet to three toes design, not hoof design. 📝 Change armor fabric to fabric with embroidery for the wood grain, rather than printed fabric with only the "nails" embroidered. - To note: The fabric colors may not be close to this color, but will feel higher quality. They may also turn out to appear "warmer", which would be a bonus! 📝 Same note to the sword and shield. 📝 Backpack should be more fabric and embroidery - less print overall. The small pocket should at least be embroidered, if not openable. 📝 Add Velcro to the back of the shirts, and the trousers (at the top of the tail hole) for ease of taking the clothes on/off. 📝 Wing embroidery should be the same green as on the chest, rather than yellow, and have a tapered instead of flat line look. Wings should also be closer to the back spine spikes.
All of these items and notes are the last few steps it will take to get Digby to align with the original vision of his design! This will ensure that the images shown on the campaign page reflect the Plushpanion and accessories you will be receiving as accurately as possible. If all of these design notes are tackled successfully, we'll be able to have the prototype shipped in soon, to better help spread the word about the Fabled Friends campaign!

With that said, due to Digby's complexity, the upcoming Chinese New Year break for our manufacturing partners, and finalizing the fulfilment of the Eclipse Pals project... we will be pushing the campaign date of Plushpanions Series 3: Fabled Friends to May 5th, 2026.
I could continue to list a number of reasons why the date needs to be nudged out, but the main reason is that I promised myself, and you, that I would not start another Plushpanions campaign without the prototype in my hands. Too many dates in our previous campaigns have been estimated without understanding the complexity and care that Plushpanions require to be an outstanding plush. We strive to put out thoughtfully designed, responsibly crafted plush companions and accessories. A process that we will not cut corners on or rush!
This also gives me more time to work on stickers, pins, graphics and a myriad of other goodies to really make this campaign sing - I hope you're looking forward to this adventure when it launches May 5th, 2026!
