Hello bird lovers, I got our second batch of samples! It includes updated versions of the previously tested charms and first editions for most birds. Before I show you them though, I have an important announcement! You can now purchase these prototypes at a big discount in the Add-Ons section of your survey! These are all one of a kind flawed pieces and I only have a limited number of them all, so you'll want to grab them ASAP in case they go fast. You can edit your survey at any time until they close September 1st on the Backerkit website.
The Reveals One of the tester charms is actually completely ready to go on its first run- the Red Winged Blackbird! You can see it in this video below
Most of the other birds only need very minor modifications to make them even better despite them functioning fine- such as a small change to the size of some parts. Here is a video to show how they look at the moment
Lastly, a few got bugged in the ordering system to not have holes- or just need changes as the wings are not working correctly, demonstrated in this final video.
I'll be working on getting all of these imperfect charms fixed up and finalized for a final sample run before mass production. If you'd like to get your hands on any of these prototypes, don't forget to add them to your survey sooner rather than later so you don't miss out! You can find them in the "LIMITED STOCK" category and can pick the level of flaw you are okay with receiving.

Hello bird lovers, All of the artworks are now complete, so that means Smoke Tests are up next! Smoke Tests are the release of a few surveys to a percentage of Backers to make sure the Survey works properly before it is sent to everyone. It'll be out soon as I can release it, so keep an eye on your emails in case you get randomly selected!

Hey EU backers, There are new regulations being implemented on the 12th requiring an up-front fee of Representative and Registration per individual Member State just for the right to ship there- adding up to a loooot of money with no exceptions for small businesses in place. I'm really hoping they'll figure out they need limitations to this requirement as I hate being unable to ship to some people just because of where they live- it's unfair. Worst case if it does come to shipping time and this regulation is the same I'll reach out to everyone with a preorder going to the EU to discuss if you can switch to a Proxy or need to cancel your order. If you are in the EU keeping updated on this, I would appreciate your thoughts.

I have completed the mock-up for the 8" x 5.5" sticker sheet as well. It has holographic outlines on each sticker, features every flapping bird, and even includes bonus mini stickers of feathers, eggs, and clouds! Take a look:
