Project Update: Embarrassing! aka the summer flew by and I (we) haven't done an update in forever.
I didn't realize it had been so long, but I knew it was past time for an update.
We're running a little late on pulling things together, but we don't think that'll impact delivery of physical product at this time.
You know how you have two people and they have a barrel for chucking parts and guts in and they just keep throwing more into it and soon it's full and overflowing and too full to actually work with? That's pretty much the story here. Guts and more guts until the original idea is sitting under 200 lbs of blood and gore and hard to get to. Blah blah.
Anyway, there I was pretty frozen. The adventure had turned into a hexcrawl and it wasn't really working in a good way. It was disappointing, stifling, and stressful. Hey, then a eureka moment "this should be a pointcrawl when the Butchered Realm is entered" and it all started clicking. Parts were shaved away. A couple different factions entered the fray (reavers with wild game heads and giant vulture bees and more). Work was resumed in earnest.
I'm excited but also full of apologies that you don't have a PDF in your hand yet.
