Hey Alleyfolk,

Last year, about this time, you joined me right here for Tales From the Alley.
I have three books planned around this one: Jimmy Talon And The Girl, Juli Kim And The Vampire, and Tales From the Alley 2. Those aren't right now, I haven't begun writing them. However, in order to take myself into all that awaits me, I have to believe I have my footing back in fiction. Tales From the Alley was my first return to fiction writing since the Alleyman Podcast, which itself was nearly 5 years since my previous bout.

So let's talk about the Book Baazar's return! Did you know there was a Summer Book Bazaar event this year? I didn't take part, but it happened. And it will happen again this coming Summer. But right now? We're looking at the Book Bazaar proper. 40 authors and small presses, realizing our dreams once more. And it launches TOMORROW!

Blue Bird, Black Bird is my first novel since 2016! This 500 pager is a solid return to form, not a novella hiding in the pages of an anthology. This gay superhero story has Bisexual MCs, vigilantism, superhero worldbuilding, and the introduction of brand new characters that I haven't been making for decades. (There are old characters hidden in here as well.) Super speedy Blue Bird falls for bad boy Black Raven, but when the skeletons in Raven's closet start getting too plentiful, there are some honest questions to be had about if a romance can exist between the two men at all.
It's got superhero action, violence, some light body horror, sex, and more.
So consider supporting my return to writing novels here, and help keep me on the path toward those three side-sequels to Tales!

But I actually have two projects this Book Bazaar! Nekyomanteia is an old poetry collection that I am modernizing in a 10 year anniversarry reprint! This poetry collection was made of orphaned lines and couplets from my notebooks, stitched together into a set of poems. It's an oldie, but a goodie. And to celebrate the modernization of this collection, I have returned to the format and added a set of Appended Limbs--additional poems to be found at the back of the book's faithful reprinted body.
