Originally published in 2017, Nekyomanteia took on many names. In the Shell of What We Built. If Death Were Sudden It Would Be Stopped. The Corpse Oracle.

Released alongside four other books at the time, it was never given its proper breathing room. Room that the poems themselves ask you to take. This collection was stitched together, poem by poem from all the notes I ever failed to take in school. Notebook on notebook full of strange esoteries in place of useful knowledge from whatever class I sat in. Lines I thought. Lines I heard out of context. Strangenesses aplenty.

Poems built from lines stolen from my own past works, phrases taken out of short stories, strange tales, or poems themselves. Will you join me in welcoming this connected webwork of pieces back into the modern world for a 10 year anniversary modern reprinting?

What can we do?
I'm stilted
    and everything
is wrong

We reached the moon,
    stop extending
your arms

It's my duty to inform you
    you've gone too far

    Balloons do not
have good futures
