Hello, Adventurers! I am pleased to share that the smoke test is now live!
Smoke tests involve sending the survey to a small group of people before sending them out broadly to everyone. The process helps identify any mistakes in the survey process earlier on so they can be addressed quickly and early.
I'm going to give the smoke tests at least a few hours before launching the survey to everyone, but you should see them soon!
On to a few quick updates:
I've added three new possibly unlockable pins: Care, Compete, and Create. These are available as add-ons for all current backers and in the pre-order store for anyone who missed the campaign. The designs for these are not done, but sketches/WIP photos of each can be found in the survey/pre-order store (and below)! I'm working to wrap these up as quickly as possible and will share another update when they're fully complete.
IMPORTANT: These pins will only be created if we reach the minimum order needed to create them. If we don't reach that number, these pins will be removed from your order before cards are charged.
Surveys will close on May 15, cards will be charged May 18. This is now a firm date to make sure I'm on track for having pins in hand and shipped out to you before the end of June, per my estimated timeline. I'm planning on starting the proofing process for the pins earlier so that I can (hopefully) start getting these sent by early to mid June.

Brief April Update - Surveys Incoming + What to Expect
Hello, Adventurers! Thank you so much for your patience! I went from Pintopia immediately into a series of back-to-back events mixed with wrapping up proofs from my previous campaign (Mythical Bards 2) that were being a little finicky.
However, the Mythical Bards 2 pins should be in hand soon (if you backed this campaign, I have tracking and they should arrive any day now!) and I'm pleased to share that the survey for Con Adventurers 2 has now been drafted and is pending review!
Here's what to expect over the next couple weeks:
Launching surveys and pre-order store early next week (aiming for Monday, April 6, pending setup approval). I'll send another update when we reach this stage! Surveys do need to run through a smoke test first, which means they are sent to a small group of backers to make sure there aren't any errors before they're sent to everyone. In any case, we're aiming to get through the smoke test quickly and launch surveys to everyone early next week.
There will be a couple additional pins we will try to unlock through pre-orders/surveys. There were so many great convention activities brought up in this campaign that I wanted to design a few more to try to unlock now. These will be available as add-ons for all current backers and in the pre-order store for anyone who missed the campaign. I should have previews in next week's update.
Surveys will close near the end of April, which keeps us very much on track for having pins in hand and shipped out to you in May/June, per our estimated timeline.
I'll be at a convention in Minnesota this weekend and then you should hear from me again as soon as the surveys are approved. Can't wait to get these into production and to you!
Less Than 30 Hours To Go! New Unlocks + Sticker Sheet
Hello, Adventurers! Our time on this campaign has rushed by and we're already near the end! Con Adventurers 2 ends *tomorrow* in less than 30 hours. Thank you so much for your support of this project so far! I so appreciate each and every one of you for your love and support for my art and our shared love of conventions. Let's take a look at a few more updates:
All core campaign pins have been unlocked!
We are a little shy of the goal I'd been aiming to reach for all six core pins (plus the mini pins), but we're *so close* to reaching it and I don't want to cause any undue worry over the next few hours to see if their favorite will be unlocked. So, we did some re-evaluating on my end and I'm going ahead and unlocking the last two! All six core pins, plus the mini pins, are unlocked!

What does this mean for some of the new designs I was asking for input on through the surveys? The preference had been for a "COMPETE" pin that I haven't sketched yet, but I don't want to over-pivot on a design that doesn't exist at this time. So, my current plan is to wrap up three new designs: CREATE, COMPETE, and a third charity-focused one (maybe DONATE or CARE) that will be available to unlock during the survey process but would likely not be part of the main campaign.
If we do some jumping in funding over the next few hours and reach at least $3500 I may be able to pre-unlock one (I'd run a quick survey to confirm which, based on final designs), but don't want to bank on it right now, especially without even sketches of most of the designs.
So, stay tuned! I'll try to provide another update as quickly as possible.
Reveal: Badge Ribbon Sticker Sheet (Now Available as an Add-On)
Badge ribbons - little ribbons with fun sayings on them that can be attached to your convention badge - are a fun tradition at some conventions and one that I, personally, adore! The badge ribbon sticker sheet includes ten stickers that look like badge ribbons, roughly 1" x 2" each, all in colors that match this pin series. The sticker sheet will be given automatically to returning backers but is now also available as an add-on for $5!
I want to call out the details on the "adhesive cover" part of each sticker (on a regular badge ribbon, this would be the waxy paper protecting the adhesive until you're ready to attach it to your badge) in particular, which are also on theme for this series. Sometimes it's the tiny details that bring me the most joy 😊 I hope you love these, as well!

12 Days to Go: RELAX Unlocked, New Stretch Goal Poll, Sticker Sheet Progress
Hello, Adventurers! We are solidly in that middle part of the campaign and I have a few things to share!
RELAX is unlocked!
Relax is pin #4 to unlock, which means we are nearly through unlocking all six core pins in this series! Those remaining two are VERY within reach over the next 12 days.

With only two more pins to unlock in our core set, I've been looking ahead at designs for two more gaming-related pins following the gaming poll that we ran earlier in January.
CREATE would be dedicated to painting minis and a nod to the tactile nature of tabletop gaming.
ACHIEVE would nod to earning achievements in video games (yes, I am absolutely one of those people that doesn't feel like I've completed a game unless I've reached 100% 😅).
I'm also considering switching Achieve to COMPETE and focusing on gaming competition instead but I don't have a sketch of that one.
Below are some early sketches of two of these options (and I know my sketches are particularly sketchy 😅). I tend to use sketches more to problem solve a layout than anything else. But hopefully this gives a sense of what I'm currently thinking about.

I'm currently wrapping up the badge ribbon sticker designs for the returning backer sticker sheet - which will also be available as an add-on, too - and I'm loving how it's coming along! Sharing a little detail below that I'm particularly enamored with at the moment. Each of the stickers will be just shy of 2" long. More to come on these soon!
The "sticky" parts of the badge ribbons read "I <3 conventions" and "Enjoy the Adventure"
