Hello Strategists!
We're spicing up this Tuesday with an info drop about the next steps for this campaign.

This will be routine for anyone who's backed a campaign with us before but if you haven't (or it's been a while) read closely!

What's happening now?
Today we're going to send out a Pledge Manager smoke test. Long story short it's a test of the system and our surveys that gets sent to a random small percentage of backers. Once those go through and we're sure everything works we'll open the Pledge Manager for everyone. Right now we're aiming for the Pledge Manager to open Friday, March 13th, and for it to be open until the end of the month (closing on March 31st).

What's a pledge manager?
The pledge manager is where you’ll pay for shipping, sales tax (if applicable), and any extra add-ons you want to attach to your pledge. Your initial payment at the end of the campaign will already be credited to your pledge so you will not be paying for your pledge again.

Do I have to fill out the pledge manager?
Yes.
If you don't fill out the pledge manager this can delay or result in loss of your pledge due to factors like missing shipping address or unpaid fees. If you don't fill out the pledge manager it'll be harder for you to get your pledge later on.

When will I get my pledge?

We’re currently aiming for an August 2026 fulfillment date- as we get manufacturing going and we solidify the timeline we’ll be able to set a solid date and we’ll notify you in an update. 

Yes! But a bit slower. We’ll drop the occasional production and shipping update about once a month until fulfillment. We’ll also use these updates to let you know if there’s going to be any delays or major changes.

Hello Strategists!
Just a short update to say the Pledge Manager is open and a quick walkthrough with pictures to hopefully help with any questions.

Late edit: If you are using Backerkit's Pay Over Time Feature your survey will not open until the final payment has been made.

1. The link from your email should take you to a page that looks like this:

Extra tip: If you pledged a la carte and want to switch to a higher level click the link under the green button

2. You'll be asked a few questions, including verifying that your pledge is already in your cart and anything you add will incur and extra charge.

3. You'll reach the add-ons page! If you wanted to add other accessories or bundles to your pledge this is where you'll order those.

In this example I pledged for the Ikusa Bundle and also added an Axis & Allies Bundle

Extra tip: Your pledged amount (highlighted above) is the money you've already paid and is credited to your pledge.

4. The next step is address for shipping! And like the note on the side says if you move between now and fulfillment there will be an opportunity to update your address later on.

5. Final step is confirming all the info is correct and inputting your payment information! The order total shows what you'll be paying when you fill out the form. The $65 pledged during the campaign is already credited bringing the total from 278.86 to 213.86.

6. You'll be taken to a Review page where you can see a summary of your purchase, your shipping info and your status (if you skipped an earlier step by mistake and need to fix it)

You all raised over $100,000 for all these incredible new accessories for these beloved strategy games. We continue to be honored and privileged to create these games and accessories for you.

There's also another highlight! There's been a wonderful amount of discussion about gameplay, future accessory wants, and all the fun you have with the game now that has been a delight to read.

We want to encourage you to keep telling us all these things, it helps us make bigger and better games and accessories when we know how you play and what you want. Feel free to drop all of your thoughts in the discussions here or over in our Axis & Allies Officer's Facebook Group (it's also for other games!)

We're going to enter a bit of a quiet period. All of the payment info will be processed and that will take about 2-3 weeks. After that we'll be opening up the pledge manager and we'll post another update with more details and instructions about filling that survey.

A few of you mentioned recently that our Axis & Allies Token pack might not include enough tokens for play. I took that feedback to our team and after a bit of discussion and checking with manufacturers we're excited to announce that we've added more tokens to the token pack!
