Hello everyone! I'm Sauren, you can also just call me Ren. I'm a dinosaur fanatic and have been considering making plushies for a long while, and I finally decided to take the plunge. In early 2026 I began designing my plushies, doing lots of research on plushie construction and manufacturing. After a few trips back to the drawing board, I landed on floppy, lightly weighted plushies as my first plushie line. And they had to be prehistoric critters, because obviously.

I wanted to start with some plushies for species I don't often see in this medium, such as Lystrosaurus and Inostrancevia. If the backerkit is successful, I will make more species for future campaigns down the line, but I don't want to overwhelm myself since this is my first plushie campaign, so I'm capping it at seven designs.

I have some experience with crowdfunding campaigns, though I have only ever made hard enamel pins. I have successfully fulfilled all of my campaigns and preorder runs so far, so I'm familiar enough with the manufacturing process that I am comfortable stepping up to plushies. This is also my first time on Backerkit, because I just don't vibe with Kickstarter anymore.

* Plushies will be between 23 - 25 inches long from nose to tail tip.
* Plushies will be between 1 - 2.5 pounds in weight, still finalizing what I want the final weight to be. They will be lightly weighted.
