We are launching in a week! Isn’t that exciting? There are two thrilling things we want to share with you today…
First, we have news involving a friendly fiend! For our upcoming campaign, we're collaborating with another campaign: the splendid Goblin's Tarot by the relentless Publishing Goblin, creator of The Alleyman's Tarot and many other wonderful projects. The plan is simple: everyone who backs both campaigns gets a free extra from both creators! We'll have a lucky charm for Haven's Heir, while the Goblin will have two pins for you.
Secondly, we have some enticing insights into one of our character classes. If you like to blow stuff up, you might want to look into the Alchemist… here’s an exclusive preview:
Alchemists are obsessive, driven individuals determined to understand, and master, the elements of nature. Determined to unlock the world’s known and unknown mysteries, alchemists perform elaborate experiments, write detailed treatises, and plumb the depths of this early science. They all too easily sacrifice their time, their relationships and even their own body in their search.
Their path, the Way of the Crucible, is built around quite literally rewriting their own biology. Depending on how you build one, an Alchemist might:
Brew a bomb powerful enough to level a building, or a silent one small enough to sabotage a lock
Alter their own blood to be poisonous, corrosive, seductive, or flammable
Link their body to the landscape itself, hardening their skin like nearby cliffs or turning liquid like a river
Brew an Elixir of Life that brings inanimate objects to life, simple-minded but obedient
Mould and animate a foot-tall homunculus companion out of clay and roots, one with its own name, its own moral code, and its own opinion of you
Not every alchemist walks the same path, but all of them agree on one thing: nothing is more important than the truth, whatever it costs to find it.
Now, don’t forget that you only have a week left to reserve for a free pin and stickersheet!
