I've loved dinosaurs since I can first remember, so they're EXTREMELY nostalgic for me!
...However, I'm also greatly interested in how things have changed as discoveries have been made in the current time, and love to know just how accurate things can get as we dig deeper!
This project plays on the cross between nostalgia and a personal take on how things may have been, back then.
Lover of dinosaurs since the dawn of time, snapling now loves to put all those years of doodling "terrible lizards" to use with making them into enamel pins!
Snapling is a firm believer that emus are a type of dinosaur and is a major advocate for the feathered T-Rex.
A majority of funds will go toward creating the pins themselves! Around 10% of what is made here will go to fees related to running this campaign (which is automatically taken from the final amount by Backerkit and Stripe). I also have to account for dropped pledges, which often total to somewhere between $500-$1,500.
If by some chance any extra money is made through this campaign, it will be used to support the creator during the creation period (with bills, food, etc)!

The following schedule is tentative and subject to change at any time! It mostly exists to give you an idea of the timeline between campaign to shipping! Pins may be delayed or arrive much sooner than planned!
October 20th, 2026: Campaign launches! Pledging begins!
November 5th, 2026: Campaign ends!
Mid-to-late November, possibly later 2026: Surveys go out to collect your pin selections and shipping information! BackerKit sends the funds so the order can be placed. Pin orders will be placed with the manu!
December 2026-February, 2027: Pins are manufactured and shipped to us!
March-April 2027: Shipping charges are collected and your items are sent to you!
While items may arrive way sooner, please allow up to 4-6 months for items to be manufactured and sent our way! Updates will be made if anything comes up!
Delays may happen due to various reasons such as manufacturing delays, tariffs, shipping during bad weather, etc. Please be aware all dates are tentative!
Colors, shapes and sizes of items may vary from the original concept work if the manufacturer requires changes. All pin designs are tentative and subject to change for any reason.
There is always a small risk of packages being lost in transit, and whether we can help or not depends greatly on the situation.
Shipping will be collected after the campaign is done! Pledges do not include shipping. Shipping prices may change slightly if prices are raised between the campaign and the time of shipment.
