My previous kickstarter ended, and during this time of recovery in my life, it successfully raised everything I needed to help this project move forward. The finances are still processing, but the moment I receive them into my bank account, I am buying all the labels to ship out your guys' rewards! I have been thinking about it for a while, and I think my next project is going to be a restock campaign with the addition of brand new pins that elevate these sets. It is something I see other artists do, and with the current state of the economy reflecting on my art business, I cannot seem to be able to get restock on my own, and so a project to assist and revive my previous work sounds fantastic. The restock I want to be getting, is my Tea Dragons, more Coffee Dragons as those are already vanishing, and my Moon and Sun dragons (eclipses included)
For new pins, I have been wanting to expand on my Tea, Coffee, and Dessert Dragons! A whole little cafe. The dessert Dragons only has 7 pins and there are so many other baked goods and sweets I have ideas for to grow that set with more dragons! For the Tea dragons there have been some Teas I feel like I missed that I would love to add to the set as well, this will include a milk boba tea and Jasmin, and potentially Butterfly Pea Flower tea! Included in that, are more small pins at about 1.2 inches of more simple teas so that my one small green tea pin has some more friends. These smaller pins made up of simple teas would be, Black Tea, White Tea, Golden Tea, Oolong, and Earl Grey (to match London Fog of course!) The three sketches above are some concepts of them!
Depending on how much money is raised, I'd love to get mini pins for all three of the sets! I'm thinking teacups and teabags for the Tea set, miniature desserts like cakes and breads for the Dessert set, and small coffee brewers like a coffeepot, french-press etc. for the Coffee set. I think these little mini pins would be adorable, and I already am so obsessed with the flowers of the Garden Dragon trio, and I want more for all my sets! I always put off my mini pins feeling like I need to make more bigger full pins in order to make a profit, but I just love mini pins so much and I want to provide the world with them! There's not enough out there. lol
