It's been a couple of months and everything is arrived and about to make its way to TKG's warehouses. Please follow the Mouths to Feed updates in order to best track fulfilment updates from here. I'll still try to pop in here and there just to catch anyone, but all updates and the pledge manager over at Tuesday Knight Game's side will be the best way to make sure you have everything going forward as they are handling everything from here.
Just want to let you know that I am officially done with everything Breathe Easy! Digital Downloads are with TKG and should be uploaded sometime soon if I'm understanding correctly. If anyone wants to let me know when they receive them that'd be great!
I had a ton of fun with bringing Breathe Easy to life, trying to really encapsulate the esports arena and busyness of the slickworld fandom on Pyramus. It's designed with a heavy ad-like signage influence, influence from cut-out collage sports poster style, and of course the branding of the racing game itself, Beach Breeze Rally DX which I really ran with with contrasted saturated colors against the black. Perhaps my favorite part was making the cartridges for the slickworlds themselves. I won't tease that though. It was a blast designing D. G.'s writing and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I'm in the layout mines starting at the end of the week and am on track to send for TKG final approval by next Wednesday (Friday at the latest)!! This is a few weeks behind I originally intended due to a few things taking a bit longer than expected, but we are still looking great timeline-wise due to a pushed back deadline from the mega pledge manager. All is good and looking good, can't wait to share more!
Chris and I knocked out the cross-over pamphlets which was a ton of fun to work on. We kicked some racing ideas back and forth over a call and then split off for me to do the maps and redo the Magenta illustration and for Chris to finish the writing. I think the tracks and crews are really cool in these and a fantastic edition to expanding play outside of the core missions and more into slice of life (albeit high risk) that can also help in making connections and driving forward in the social circles of Breathe Easy.
No new visuals for now because Chris did the pamphlet layout, but I'll have more to share next time!
Thank you again for being on this ride!! Till next time,
Chris Airiau of Flatline on the Blocks and I are meeting this week to get the majority of the crossover pamphlets done. We had an awesome meeting a couple weeks back to plan them out and I'm really stoked to get to making these. I have some awesome ideas for designing the tracks and teams.
Layout will be finalized sometime around the end of the month alongside the rest of the writing around the end of the first week of June so that we have time for printing and shipping to the warehouses.
Everything is looking good and I'm glad we have the lion's share of the project finished. Stoked to get it to you all soon,
A quick update on the progress. Both Breathe Easy and Drizzling Town for No One are nearly through editing! I'm really excited to see what you all think about the slickworld adventure. I think D G captured an awesome one shot experience with an interesting connection to the Dream that can benefit longer campaign play.
