First up, apologies for the week late update this month. Tuesday Knight Games had big news about the Megapledge Manager fulfillment last week, and we felt it would make more sense to postpone than to double update with barely any news. You've probably already heard the news elsewhere, but long story short:
As mentioned last month, the production and shipping portion of our work on Flatline on the Blocks completed on schedule, and now is in TKG's hands. Usually, big collaborative projects like ours tend to run behind schedule quicker than most, and I was proud our team delivered on the timeline that TKG originally put forth.
Naturally, we're bummed about this delay, but that was the risk of trying out this totally new Megapledge Manager feature. Plus, it's not like TKG was dragging their feet. The 3pp coordinator, Daniel Hallinan (also author of VR_DEAD and Bloom) has been a star throughout the process, helping manage and coordinate the multinational logistics over twenty projects with creators from all the corners of the world. At least it will literally be worth the wait, saving y'all loads in shipping fees.
REMINDER: You must complete the Megapledge Manager to receive your pledges, even digital ones!
Amanda P. joined their friends on the adventure review podcast, Between Two Cairns, to review the Peregrine Coast Press module, Johnson Squared. B2C reviews lots of fantasy OSR modules, and a good amount of Mothership too, I highly recommend the show. Listen to the episode with Amanda P. here.
Ansible Uplink Season 2, my (Chris Airiau's) sci-fi adventure review podcast, launches next week on October 7th. Read about the future of the podcast, get the pre-launch a little sci-fi game, and check out other 5 Million Worlds news too.
Christian Sorrell has re-launched their newsletter MeatCastle Missives on Patreon with a renewed emphasis on releasing gameable material. Christian is always cooking up something great, check out their new Patreon.
We're are at the end of our update cycle. Tuesday Knight Games has our zines and bundles at their warehouses, and fulfillment is coming March 2027.
However, the Spinal Crux Warriors are committed to sending an update on this project's progress on the second-to-last Monday of each month. I'm working through the plaintext documents now, getting our digital launch in order with Violet, and prepping that lil extra surprise. Other than that, it'll be a quick sign-of-life updates pointing folks towards Tuesday Knight Games' updates. And like this month, we'll be sure to share any other projects the Warriors are working on.
