Apologies for the lack of updates, here's a bunch!
The manuscript is in its final copy-edit and into initial layout.
We are slightly behind schedule, but still aim to have the digital version in your hands by the end of October.
At this point, physical fulfillment is looking more like January, but we're exploring options to speed up production and delivery to our warehouses.
We appreciate your patience, as we are a small core team (Adam and Jamie) with full time jobs; we're working out the kinks in our process of working with an extended team of amazing writers, artists, editors and designers. Thanks for your support as we continue on this journey into infinity.
Finally, some visual goodies for ya after the sign-off!
xoxo adam
In progress spread about the Hart-Banker Corporation, with a Random Executive Generator table
Three carriages: the Casino, Viewing Car, Baggage Car
The campaign is entering its final week, so we wanted to share some sneak peeks and stretch goals.
FIRST, based on your comments, the first stretch goal ($15k) unlocked:
More carriages!
More tables!
More wooden minis AAAAND now they have magnets so they connect like a train!
Here's a work-in-progress of some carriages, including the requested viewing car!
the observation carriage and luggage car (sketch)
SECOND, the 25k stretch goal will be a Foundry VTT conversion!
THIRD, if we hit $40k, ALL PHYSICAL BACKERS will receive a free physical coloring / graffiti book featuring the cars of the Green Light Express and classic favorites from An Infinity of Ships.
Inspired by the book Subway Scrawl, the coloring book will feature black and white tear-out sheets of all the cars, for your coloring (or bombing) pleasure)!
The inspiration and format for the Green Light Express coloring / graffiti book.
If you haven't backed A Fistful of Stars yet, we are entering the last few hours to get the early bird freebie (a cool bookmark of the space train with a surprise table on the back!)
We've smashed our initial funding goal thanks to the support of 345 backers, thank you so much, we're excited to show you more previews along the way.
I'll have a longer update later this evening, but for now here's a little behind the scenes sketch by way of thanks: the train engine, a passenger car, a booster module, the dining car, and the maintenance car....
Also, check out the other amazing projects that are part of Orbital Blues month. There are some real bangers in there, and some cool rewards for backing multiple projects.
