They were definitely in the cards tp produce earlier so the issue is clearly the backlash you got I think the backlash could've come a lot from it being the second upgrade to the dice, keyword being upgrade you could just add the 25mm dice or upgrade them and add something else But a poll can't hurt, then you'll now whether people didn't want the dice or people didn't want a second upgrade. Worst thing that a vote can show is that you made a mistake and you would be praised if you corrected it if that is the case

This is my first big box. I was excited about the idea of having 25mm dice, but unfortunately, the stretch goal was replaced by blank cards. Honestly, I've never used them before, because I don't know what to write on them to match the game's mood. I hope the dice make a comeback in the campaign."

I'm pretty sure that we Will reach the 900k for the John book SG, and also (as a Munchkin collector) that the content in the box is above the total of the content bought indepently, and as You stated before, SJG don't want to lose money with this campaign. With that being said, I believe that the Best 1M SG can be a small new Game Changer expansion set, such as bosses, dungeons, side quests, Munchkinomicon, Fairy Dust, etc. A small 15-30 card pack exclusive to backers. Something that add some depth to the Game, knowing that most of us backers, had played munchkin for some years now. I think it's the most "budget friendly" we can get, and a very much appreciated one.

What do I need to due in order to pledge twice? I would like a copy of the game for myself and a copy for a friend for a present.

I was wondering do you guys think it would be smart if they release what the next Stretch goal could be to increase the chances of gaining more pledges and getting closer to those goals? I personally think it us a good idea but was curious as what others think about it?

If you add a pack of 6 25mm Dice as addon (at a discounted price), you will make everybody happy (those without them who can have them, those with them who can have the 19 mm new ones, those who will buy them later from W23) and help us reach 1 million.

Project Update: Another Munchkin Big Box Goal!

Munchkins!

We’ve just unlocked the most recent stretch goal, and now all backers of this campaign will receive a Loaded Deck to go along with their Loaded Die. Combined, the Loaded Deck and Die will provide an interesting twist to your next game of Munchkin. We’re excited to get them in your hands!

We know that you’re itching to learn about the next stretch goal, and we have two nice surprises. When we unlock the next stretch goal at $900,000, each backer will get Kovalic’s Munchkin Miscellany, a book of Munchkin art that many of you have never seen, from full-color rarities to never used black and white sketches.

We’re also pleased to announce that John has asked to curate the project himself. He plans to rummage through all of his many files to share some of his favorites, along with his own commentary on the illustrations. We’re excited to work with John to bring this project together and look forward to sharing it with backers as an exclusive for supporting Munchkin Big Box

We’ve come a long way since we launched on April 18, and we just need a little bit more to hit this latest milestone. Keep sharing Munchkin Big Box with your family and friends, and encourage them to pledge. Then encourage them to share with friends, and with their friends, and with . . . you get the idea.

Thank you for your support!

To you with a sleeved collection and a monster box, how many cards does it fit?

You only have things done by Kovalic in the shop so why isn*t the super munchkin expansion there? It should be the same as the base expansions?

Please consider having an epic map add on (a lvl 20 map in this newer/collector style), this could also be a SG. Thanks!

1. In terms of total money funded I'd say were in the end game, maybe we can get a bit over 1M but higher than that I doubt 2. I believe you can be more creative with BE (backer exclusive) SGs and I think that what makes them better. Kovalics art book and the loaded deck feels more appreciated by the backers than blank cards or promo cards reprint (although dividers were great) and for me atleast it's because they add more. the loaded deck will have a big impact and I love me some Kovalic art whilst the promo cards is just (although nice) 20 cards among 650+ 2 tldr: BE SGs are better = more pledges 3. FOMO is real, people are more inclined to buy stuff they can only get now = more pledges So to summarize, I think that backer exclusive SGs have higher potential and people want limited only things which I believe will get more backers and as a bonus I think it will make current backers even happier (more money = more stuff and read point 2) YMMV

I'd like a rulebook that contains all the 9 base expansions because I think that's the most common expansions people have and they cover most things To not loose money, you could to it as an add on and that way new players that might (although unlikely) get confused won't get confused since they didn't buy it You could even do it as a pledge since the art will be done by John and the rules by Steve

Sorry if this was already asked and answered. It says "added cards from Munchkin 2 – Unnatural Axe, Munchkin 3 – Clerical Errors, and Munchkin 6 – Double Dungeons." Does this mean only a selection of cards from each expansion or every card from the core and expansions. I only have variations of munchkin and planned on buying the core game with mostly if not all expansions that went with it when my kids were older. The big box would be perfect to hold every expansion, but I wouldn't want to miss out on cards that didn't come with it.

Project Update: A deeper look at Munchkin Bosses!

Hello everyone!

Last week, we explored Steve and John’s favorites from the 50 all-new cards found only in Munchkin Big Box. This week, we will be sharing some of the new art from Munchkin Bosses, a mini-expansion developed to make monsters more challenging than ever before.

When I asked John which card he remembers the most from Bosses, he didn’t come back with a card, but the card back! Here is what he had to say:

“Honestly, my favorite here is the card back for the set - the Bullrog sitting at its desk.”

The Bullrog

We think you'll be excited to see the rest of John’s illustrations on the Bosses cards!

Diabolical and Weak Sauce Boss

I also had a chance to catch up with Devin Lewis. If you don’t know Devin, he has been helping design and add the humor you know and love to Munchkin for over 10 years. Devin worked closely with Andrew Hackard in the early stages of designing Bosses, and here is what he had to share about designing this expansion.

"I initially pitched Andrew to make a set of really high-level monsters – something like The Biggest Squid Ever and Chicken on Your Planet, which are truly terrible names I made up on the spot. He didn’t immediately hate the idea, which was very Andrew of him, so we got into the details of how it would work and why I thought it was necessary as well as a good addition to the game.

"We went back and forth for a week or two and settled on ideas that would eventually end up in Bosses. The base concept wasn’t new – we had a boss monster fight as part of Munchkin Quest, which meant we didn’t have to reinvent the huge, angry wheel. We just had to adapt it, which Andrew did quite handily.

"I very much wanted you to have to fight a boss to win. Getting to level 10 wouldn’t have been enough, but that was just Munchkin Quest over again, so we didn’t do that. What we did do, however, was make a great little addition to the game, and we did it in such a way that it can easily be added to any Munchkin set and still function without adding "wrong" monsters."

Tell us on social media if you win the game by killing the boss!

Eeeeeeevil, You're a Boss!, and You're A Megaboss!

Think you're munchkin enough to take on the boss monsters? Prove it with Munchkin Bosses!
