I had a delay printing the classic zines because I was having email problems for a couple weeks that i didn't notice until earlier this week. So it's possible some correspondence may have gotten lost, but I don't know. If you emailed me, directly or through BackerKit's support, and you either didn't hear back from me, or you replied but I didn't acknowledge your response, it may have gotten lost. Please contact me. There are a few of you that still need to fix or update your payment information. Please contact me if you have any problems.
I did a small batch today to test out the process. There were "The Collectors", I did those orders manually because they're unique and I wanted to make sure they're done correctly. They'll be receiving the tracking information soon, they were shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The rest were either just stickers for the cross-collab that didn't purchase any physical items, or those that just purchased a single copy of the Crawl! no. 1 classic zine. Those items will be going out standard First Class, and won't have any tracking info.
The rest of orders will be going out starting tomorrow. They will be going out in order by their weight. I was able to consolidate the orders into 6 or 7 different weight "classes" which simplified things a LOT. The process was extremely manual, but I figured it out. I'm sure there's a simpler method, but it was simple enough.
I'm really excited to get these out. They should be in your hands by next week or so (unless you're out of the country... then fingers crossed).
I have to say the support crew, in "Customer Success", are awesome. They're patient and so helpful. I've been figuring this stuff out on my own, mainly. I'm pretty sure I've messed stuff up, but thankfully they have humans at Backerkit reviewing everything before they even let you press "Continue". It's been very helpful, to put that gently. I have a background is "logistics". I've moved dozens of people, their camping shit, big shit, weeks of food and water, to remote places. I worked in shipping and receiving for a Borders Books for several years. I was the inventory manager for the store and I've learned a lot about shipping and receiving hundreds of books a day. So I never gave fulfillment much thought. The hardest part has definitely been getting the word out, setting up the project page, etc. So I didn't sweat the fulfillment. Well, it's not been easy. I don't have an office, much less a warehouse. But I'm also no stranger to having piles of boxes and books all over the house. I thought this part would be easy... anyway.
I figured out the shipping, and it's gonna suck. Prices hiked up over the past 4 months, although I don't think anyone is going to be surprised. You'll be getting an email this weekend about it, and you'll have a couple days to make any adjustments to your payments.
You should have until today, 11 September, to correct or check your mailing addresses.
If it all goes well, I should be shipping by next week.

A pile of boxes and copies of the mega-editions
What you're looking at is a pile of boxes. In those various boxes are your copies of the Crawl! Mega-Edition no.1s in the two varieties, standard and the alternative cover --- they're here! Also in some of those boxes are various packaging supplies (don't worry about that).
We're now just waiting on copies of the classic zine editions of no.1 and 13 from my local print shop. All that's left is for me to package everything, figure out the final steps, charge for shipping, etc. It's a bit more complicated than I expected, but I'll figure it out.
In the mean time you might be getting weird emails from BackerKit (I pressed some buttons that I'm not sure about). Orders should be locking, although there are a few of you that haven't filled your surveys (you probably want to do that). Pre-orders are closed. You should have time to make sure your mailing addresses are up-to-date before you are charged for shipping (I think? gulp).
