What a very nice and cozy first 48 hours! Thank you all for the support and I hope you found some fun projects to back within the Pintober event as well! If you back 3 or more you will get all kinds of cute freebies as Trick or Treat from those projects.
Great news is that the first 5 pins and the mini pin set (the leaves) are all unlocked! 🐸🍄🟫 That means only the Mushrooms Floris and the Snail mini pin are left to unlock.
The fun part with the Snail is that when it's unlocked at €2250, all backers in the 3 pins pledge levels or higher, will get this mini pin added for free. It will also be available separate in the survey after the project has finished.
General survey info Speaking of the survey: After the project ends I'll be sending a survey out to all backers. In this survey you must fill in what pin design(s) you wanted to get specifically. But also your address, in this survey you will also see the correct amount of shipping costs. You can also add some extra products if you missed out on something, like and extra pin design, or sticker sheet.
Early and Returning backer stickers available in survey I've also decided to add the Early frog and Returning frog vinyl sticker designs in the survey! They are free if you qualify for them (aka: back in the first 48h as Early Frog (now past that timeline), or be a Returning backer) but otherwise you can add one (or more!) to your order via the survey for a vinyl sticker price. Which is €3 per sticker.
Previous year Froggoween pins as add-ons Also wanted to let you know I've added previous year's Froggoween enamel pins as an add-on to the project. I completely forgot about them whilst setting it up and preparing for a 5 day convention I am currently doing. But you can add them now too! It's 7 pin designs of Floris in Froggoween costumes, very cute if I may say so myself. Most popular one last year was Frankenstein, but on conventions the Vampire and the Witch are the big ones!
Froggoween pins from 2025
And a reminder that you can always change your pledge while the project is still live. So you can add or remove add-ons, or switch pledge levels if you wish to do so! Again thank you all for the support! If we keep this up I'll have to give some sneak peeks to the stretch goal designs next week already, hehe.
Have a great early weekend and feel free to share the project with other cozy frog lovers!
With only a few more days until the project goes live I'd wanted to share the freebies you can get in this project!
Pintober freebie mini pin, Froggoween colours
Trick or Treat freebie mini pin First up, during this even with Pintober, if you back 3 or more projects you will get the 'Trick or Treat' freebie mini pin of each of those backed projects! Fall times with Floris freebie is a wrapped candy in Halloween colours, to fit next to the previous year candy. (Additional coloured candy mini pins can be bought as an add-on if you wish you have more 'flavours'.)
Early Backer freebie vinyl sticker (will be without the dotted background)
Returning Backer freebie vinyl sticker (will be without the dotted background)
Early and Returning Backer freebie stickers Next up are the Early and Returning Backer freebies. These are glossy vinyl stickers (size tbd, but probably around 5cm/2inch could be bigger) with two completely new artworks of Floris the Frog. I asked via a poll what folks would like to see and for a while it was a tie between 'general fall' and 'froggoween' so I just went for both, thank you for voting everyone! Early Backer freebie sticker is Floris hugging a pumpkin! Returning Backer freebie sticker is Floris as a scarecrow!
Floris as a Tanuki, this will be a phone charm cross-collab freebie
Cross-collab freebie phone charm And last up is a cross-collab freebieyou can get if you backFall Times with Floris but also Natasja's Yokai Ghost Parade! Not a sticker nor an enamel pin but a little phone charm of around 38mm/1.5 inch with a simple phone strap on it. Perfect to hang on your phone, or zippers of a bag or anything other fun. From me you will receive Floris as a Tanuki to fit the Froggoween and Yokai theme. From Natasja you'll get a Kappa! Reminder that you need to back both of us to receive these two extra phone charms.
Hope you all like the designs of the freebies, the types of freebies, the enamel pins as well and the project in it's entirety! Floris the Frog is a soft spot for me and a passion project, I hope you like him just as much as I do.
Feel free to share the project with your friends to share the frog love 💚 Hope we can unlock all the goals and maybe get some spooky ghosty Floris stretch goals too!
I wanted to share the pin designs that I hope we can unlock during this project! The main set will be 6 pins of regular size (roughly 3-5 cm or around 1,5-2") but also a mini pin-set and a mini pin. And if we go very far I also have 3 sneaky back up designs to try and unlock. Here's the full list and the goals to reach 🐸🍂🎃
If we unlock the Snail mini pin, every backer with 3 or more pins backed will receive the Snail for free. It'll also be available for a regular choice during the survey part. I am pretty excited to see how far we'll get! My favourite designs are the little Snail, Sweater Floris and Umbrella Floris ✨
As regular add-ons you can also choose another mini pin! A Floris candy in a different colour (or should I say flavour?). These pins won't need to be unlocked and can be added via the add-ons. Other add-ons are 2 Fall times with Floris postcards and two sticker sheets to choose from.
Next update I'll share the Event Collab and Cross Collab freebies! This time I'm working together with Natasja and her Yokai Ghost Parade project, and the freebie will not be a pin or a sticker 👀
To distract myself from a loved (pet but our baby) member passing away I wanted to ask if you all could think along for the vinyl sticker designs for the Early and the Returning backer rewards.
I made a poll for it, but I am also open for suggestions. Anything to start the gears and get some fun little rewards for all you lovely supportive folks.
As I am writing this update to talk about my new crowdfunding centering Floris the Frog, it sure is fall weather outside. It's been raining for a while and it makes working on this project even more a perfect vibe!
My new project will be a smaller one with Floris the Frog as the main attraction! Just like last year with Froggoween this one is during Pintober.
Fall Times will have 6 main enamel pins to unlock but I have some extra's ready, like a mini snail pin, a ghost or a pumpkin an fall leaves mini pin set!
Follow along if you are interested in this new project and are ready for Fall and Halloween!
