We're slowly getting through the pile of blanket orders! Again, it's just me fulfilling these, and I do have a full time job so I'm getting everything out in batches as I can!
To give you all a bit of insight on how backerkit shipping works, all orders are sorted into groups! So you have people who, for example:
A. Order ONE Blanket!
B. Order ONE Blanket but are overseas.
C. Order ONE Blanket but also stickers!
D. Order TWO Blankets
C. Order ONE Blanket but also pins!
(There's more categories than this but its an example)
Right now it assigns priority by what has the MOST orders in that group. I go down via that list! So if your in the batch of less orders per group you're prolly pushed a little further back! These are still on track to arrive by/before christmas time. Pretty sure at this point I'm already half way through fulfillment! :D
Now if you check your tracking and see that the package has been 'delivered to a PO Box in Florida', that means either your package could not be delivered to the address you provided or customs refused it and kicked it back. In THAT case I'll have to run up to the post office and see what the heck their listed reason is, and will be in touch!

My car was bustin at the seams, but if you ordered just a blanket, brace yourself! Your order is comin!!
The rest of the orders will soon be following the second I get my restock of stickers in! (I may have miscounted stock on a little surprise goodie I'm throwing in with every order, I don't want anyone to miss out!) Still on track to have everything shipped out before the end of october!!
Backerkit Learning Curves: Shipping Ready to Begin!

Thanks for your patience!! I had a bit of a time trying to understand Backerkit, as its quite different from Kickstarter when it comes to fufilling orders, but I BELIEVE I have finally figured it all out!!

THE FIRST ORDERS TO GO OUT WILL BE THE SINGULAR BLANKET PREORDERS!
I have most of the materials for those on hand, so they'll be easy enough! There's 40 total!
Again, it is just me shipping these out on my own, so I ask for your continued patience. You guys have been AMAZING! Thank you!! I know a lot of folks want these in time for the holidays so you better bet your bottom that I will not rest until they're all out my door! (And I get my house back. THERES SO MANY BOXES....)
Second of all, the tree star care guides arrived!! :D They came out REALLY cute and vibrant! I hope these help answer any questions anyone may have on how to make sure their tree star stays safe, vibrant and soft!
That's about it! I'll poke back in when the first batch of shipping is done!
LORD HELP ME THEY ARE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS! THE BOXES CANNOT CONTAIN THEM!
This isn't even ALL of them. This is just HALF of the boxes! It's just me shipping these out to everyone, so please be patient! I'm going to do my best to get these all out to everyone asap!

I'll be locking in orders for surveys that have been filed very soon, then the charges will roll out! We gotta get everything settled with enough funds secured and processed by the 30th to guarantee production done and at my door for fulfillment by mid August. This is so I can have them on hand for a convention this summer!
So if you haven't, be sure to double check and make sure you've gotten the add-ons you wanted, and that your address is correct!! I'm planning to get everything locked TOMORROW for those that have completed the surveys!
I'm hoping we will have just enough to secure the funding for manufacturing of the blankets until the other 30+ folks get to their surveys.

There was a little error when ordering a blanket AND a sticker that charged the rate of two blankets, I went back in to the rates and adjusted it!
Unfortunately Backerkit charges shipping based on a 'range' of weights instead of just the overall weight of each little item. That has since been rectified! :D
