Project Update: ORDERS SHIPPED~! & Gomu Gomu Pin
Hello my amazing backers!! I'm happy to announce that as of today, all orders are marked as shipped and will be on their way to you! I seriously can't thank you all enough for the support.
I know after you hear it enough, the thanks begins to feel like an empty platitude. For me, it means I acknowledge you saw this project and you liked it enough to support it. Statistically, only 1-7% of people who saw this project did what you did, and that makes you really, really special. It really does mean the world to me, because these projects allow me to keep doing what I love. For you, it means I can bring you nostalgia, joy, or comfort with the things I make.
With the gooey stuff out of the way, I anticipate this will be my last update on this project. If there is anything you feel like your missing or your order is incorrect, please get in touch with me via e-mail or socials as soon as possible so I can make the situation right. I may not see it if you DM me or comment on here, since I won't be checking as frequently any more!
Last, last thing: While these pins came out wonderfully overall, I have a personal nitpick with the Gomu-Gomu pin. The photos from the manufacturer made me ask them if the Gomu Gomu pin had the right Pantone color, since the contrast seemed to be lower than the other designs. They assured me it was the quality of the photos they sent and not to worry -- though upon receiving the order, I'm personally not as satisfied with the final result as the other pins.
So, if you happen to agree with me and you aren't pleased with the item quality, please let me know and I will be more than happy to send you an updated pin during my next restock of these pins. It may not be for another year or so, as it depends on how sales go. I just wanted to acknowledge this at the outset, but I hope that regardless of my expectations you will still be pleased. Overall, I think these pins are gorgeous and I'm so proud of them.

Project Update: Shipping Update & Manufacturer Photos!
Hello all, another update regarding shipping!
My manufacturer has informed me that the pins will be on their way to me within a week! I’m absolutely thrilled to get these out to everyone. If there’s any further delays that pop up, I’ll be sure to let everyone know.

Project Update: Shipping Update & Address Locking!
Hello all, another update since the projected shipping date is one week away!
There were a few back and forths on design iterations, I predict we will be 3-4 weeks behind our projected shipping timeline. I will make sure to keep you all updated and post manufacturer photos as soon as I get them!
In the mean time, if you haven’t, make sure you have gotten these tasks done on your end to ensure you receive your pins without any further delays:
1. CONFIRM SHIPPING ADDRESS
Shipping addresses lock in 48 hours. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out via my email and we will get you taken care of.
2. UPDATE CARD INFORMATION
A few of you haven’t been charged for shipping or even your original pledge. Just to reiterate, if you do not have all of your information correct, you will NOT receive your pins!!

Project Update: Backer Surveys & Pin Spec Sheets!
Hi everyone!! It’s been two weeks since our campaign successfully ended, and the ball is officially rolling into the Production Saga! Please expect surveys to come out in the next week — and remember that if you don’t fill out your survey, you will NOT get your pins!! Make sure to keep an eye out in your email, where the link to your survey will be. Though, if you’re already reading this, then you’re in good shape to get it. :)
The manufacturer, meanwhile, has been contacted and previews will hopefully arrive soon of the actual, physical product! In the meantime, you can check out these images I sent as a little behind the scenes peek.

Project Update: Stretch Goals Met! 🎉
Thank you so much everyone!! ALL FIVE PIN DESIGNS ARE UNLOCKED! An extra special thank you to everyone at LVL UP EXPO who supported this project last minute. To give people a chance to hop on board last minute now that all five designs are funded, we’ve decided to extend the campaign and give backers a chance to unlock the mystery Akuma No Mi!
So what does this mean?
1. EDIT/UPDATE YOUR PLEDGE
If you were keeping your pledge on a certain tier to wait and see which stretch goals were unlocked, you now have more time to decide how many pins you would like! Also, if you were at LVL UP EXPO, don’t forget to let me know before everything locks so you can secure your free Add-on!
2. VOTE IN THE DESIGN POLL
If you haven’t already, make sure you vote in the poll below to decide which fruit you’d like to see unlocked! This poll ends April 26th at 11:59PM CDT so those on keeping current with announcements will get the benefit!
Don’t forget there’s other ways you can help us meet this last stretch goal without adding more to your pledge!
1. SHARE
There’s lots of places that you can spread the word about this project! A few examples that come to mind are…
- Your personal social media/stories
- Discussion forums such as FB groups & subreddits
- Your (hopefully) friendly neighborhood Discord servers
A word of caution: if you do post on social media, be aware that if you tag ANYTHING “enamel pin” “pin” “merch design”, etc, you may get several spam messages from manufacturers scouting potential clients. Ask me how I know! So, if this is something you very much do not want, be mindful of algorithms or maybe find other places to share.
2. ENGAGE
Discussing in the Community tab helps a lot!! It tells Backerkit that people are interested in what we got cookin’ over here and will further share this project to other people who are already looking for projects to support. A win/win for us all!
Some things I’d love to hear discussions about are…
- Which Devil Fruits you’d like to see next, of course!
- Discussion of which Devil Fruit is the coolest/most OP. I know y’all got opinions!
- Sharing your own One Piece tattoos, if you have any! These are inspired by tattoo designs, after all~
- Other One Piece merch items you’ve never seen, but would like to see in the future — for unrelated reasons of course!
