Hey folks, Jason here. I've dropped The Confrontation: The Rise at Reverie in the Ready for Layout folder I've lately shared with you (linking here in case you've missed it). This is the Confrontation portion of the Queen of Hearts Mastermind. You should actually avoid reading it if you intend to be a player in a QoH campaign at some point—there are a lot of fun surprises in there that you won't want spoiled—but if you're a Keeper, give it a look. I had a lot of fun writing it. We're getting close on Shadow Society. Harald says it's going to clock in at around 420 pages (!!!) which is about 2.5 times bigger than we originally planned!
I'm closing this short update with a bit of sad news: we lost a member of the Gauntlet family a couple weeks ago. AJ Summers was an artist on our game Public Access. She brought an incredible eye for analog and mixed media art to the game, and was just an all around lovely person. We're going to miss her. AJ's husband, Michael Van Vleet—also a contributor to Gauntlet games, and the author of forthcoming The Between hack, Step Right Up—wrote some reflections on their shared blog. Please give it a read.
