Project Update: UPDATE: Behind the Scenes, Archetypal transitions.
It seems like forever since we've given you an update on what's going on behind the scenes...
I thought it would be relevant to share with you some BIG NEWS! I have ungone some huge internal and external transitions as I step into (for the first time) my literal Mother Archetype energy! That's right, I'm pregnant!!! This will be my partner Ryan and I's first living born child come September! We discovered the pregnancy near the completion of the Kickstarter funding. So synchronistic!
I felt like in many ways I continue to nurture this creative project as the symbolic expression of the Mother Archetype. Now, as this project comes to full fruition, I begin my Homemaker energy of becoming a nester before baby Clover Dean Meadows comes to be. This means I wrap up all my unfinished projects (including this one) and I create the spaciousness for ease of birthing this baby boy into the world!
Wowee!!!
So just know... although my energy has been diffuse to address some logistical transitions with my personal life, it is my priority to complete all the editing and polishing of the book (that is coming along beautifully with Nick's help) which honors our original estimated time of completion for you! As I continue these edits and have more time with sisterhood using these cards, these archetypes and the deck continue to give me golden nuggets of wisdom to weave into the final project. It's been really lovely to see how these archetypes weave themselves into the web of life in subtle and more obvious ways.
Don't forget you have access to use the digital deck until (and after) you receive your material set! If you haven't checked it out yet, then please do! If you've gotten to explore it a little bit, tell us...
what have you discovered?
what works or doesn't work well for the digital version?
what are you most excited about with the material version?
Blessings to you and yours,
Melissa
Project Update: We Did It!!! Now what?
Project Update: Last Chance to Get Yours + Live Reading!!!

Project Update: We met a Harvestor IRL!
Project Update: Haven't you heard??!!
We ask for your support again, as we reach for our stretch goal to make the Women's Wheel project built to last!
Why is this project important for women?
Far too long we have been under/mis-educated on the female cycle and the skills to empower ourselves and each other to make healthy autonomous choices for well-being. Many self-help tools will tell guide you through the author's method from their own discovery process. The Women's Wheel gives you the scientific and biological changes that actually take place in all cycling female bodies (in the book), while equipping you with your own spiritual tool (the oracle deck and alter cloth) to discover and inquire with what you find within your own psyche at any given time to empower your own free will, autonomy and healthy connection with others.
If you are man, why is this important?
Well, far too long our male counterparts have also been misunderstanding the female cycles, calling the women closest to them crazy and feeling helpless to support them during different times of their flow. When you support this campaign, not only are you supporting women as a whole, but you could also be supporting the women closest to you by understanding them better and fostering the female relationships to you, to feel really seen, understood and connected.
If you're gender neutral, why is this important?
Once you understand the differences in the biology of the XX and XY chromosome it may be easier to navigate that unique experience of neutrality, fostering the nuanced experience that only these folx experience.
We want to know your thoughts too...
Why do you think this project is important?
What makes it worthwhile to contribute to?
Project Update: 😔Sad news...that will only help us learn and grow.
As much as we would have liked to, the season was not ripe this time around for this fruit to blossom. And if the Women's Wheel teaches us anything, it's how to wait with patience and surrender until the fruit is ripe along with perseverance to continue nurturing the tree until it is. And as we are in this harvest season of November, we are grateful for the effort we have put forth into creating this project and grateful for the fruits of lessons we will take with us into the next campaign. 🍋
However, that does not mean your support goes unrecognized! 🎉 We so appreciate and value your contributions! 🙏They are absolutely necessary and have been the steam to our engine and have kept us moving along this path to serve the feminine. And we hope that we can count on your contribution to the next campaign! As we will be coming in hot and primed with even more embodied wisdom! 💯
As we rest in the understanding this campaign did not meet our hopes, we walk away with great learning for next time. As Nick said in our previous post, we have ideas for modifying the set and our goal next time. This is all with the feedback from you, all of our supporters and our marketing team.
Please let us know if you have any feedback, you think would be valuable to modify the work or the campaign so we can build a sturdy bridge to the community that the Women's Wheel will best serve.
Project Update: The Future of the Women's Wheel...
Now, we make one last request as this crowdfunding window comes to a close to see if you can help us make this miracle available to us now...by contributing directly, sharing directly with friends and on your social media.
And, if that miracle is not ripe for us now, we are still so proud of what we put together and we know the market is out there! They just might not be on BackerKit. We have learned so much ourselves from developing this project and it will not be the end of the Women's Wheel!
Nick: When we originally put together the $7000 goal, it was based on 500 units of each item in the deluxe set. As we plan for a possible relaunch of the crowdfunding campaign, we'll propose it less like a whale and more like a marlin- sleek and direct.
We'll have numbers based on 250 units and we'll rethink what NEEDS to be in the Core and Deluxe sets. We'll maybe include a deck-only option. We'll also launch on Kickstarter where the barrier to entry is lower and we'll have way more eyes just browsing through the platform.
I do have to admit I am disappointed, as this is my first failed crowdfunding project. But that won't deter me! I am so incredibly proud of what we've accomplished, and we WILL get it made and will be a great seller for years to come!
We have dreams for the Women's Wheel that are still unfolding. So, as we prepare for next steps we hosting an ongoing Women's Wheel Gathering. One of which is in person, in St. Petersburg, Florida, every 1st and 3rd Sunday. And another, will be Wednesday's on the web via Zoom. If you are interested in either of these, we welcome you to join us! Please reply to this email and we will share the event invitation with you.
Project Update: Update to the Altar Cloth Wheel
Melissa did the hard work of really diving into where our Archetypes fall within the wheel- not just their placement in the seasons, but their placement in relation to each other and most importantly, their polar opposite on the other side of the wheel.
This layout, placed with intention, really helps to understand where you might be through the lens of where you are furthest away from. For example, the Detective, who explores their place in the universe, is extremely far away from the Socialite, who is excited to just be present in the Universe.
Please take a look at the new wheel alignment and share your thoughts below!
Project Update: Slowly Moving towards our Goal and Other Projects
We are slowly moving towards our goal, and the projections still have us hitting it right as the campaign ends.
If you can each share this project on social media (HTTP://womenswheel.co), it would help us reach it organically!
I also want to direct you all towards this week's episode of my podcast, Art For Profit's Sake. It's a deep dive with Melissa Elizabeth of the Heart Temple. We discussed how she expanded her offerings from massage therapy into life coaching and other modalities that eventually informed the philosophy behind the Women's Wheel project.
You can listen to Art for Profit's Sake wherever you find podcasts, or watch the video here.
Lastly, I want to shout out a friend's project that is also crowdfunding right now- La Muci Design has a beautiful Travelling Tarot Kit. If you have seen her work before, you know it's gorgeous and a can't miss project.

In developing this project, my Warrior energy came through for the sake of empowering women and their cycles as a welcome Rite of Passage.
I remember when I got my first bleed, there was only a pink hue on the toilet paper, and I was ecstatic and shared gleefully with my mom. She was not as enthused and also not convinced that I was having my first bleed yet. I quickly learned how to use tampons, because "pads were messy", and it was not until I was in my 30's that I really started to appreciate and honor what my PMS and Menstrual experience was telling me.
It is my hope that we can joyfully welcome this Initiation of womanhood and honor the intelligence as each cycle, for ourselves as individuals, feel connected and supported in community and fostering the wellbeing of these next generations to come.
How many of you feel like your bleed is a drag? Is something you detest? Or wish you could pray to go away? Unfortunately, I hear this with many women. I think this is because many of us did not have a ceremonious Initiation into womanhood, have experienced some trauma within the womb, or just do not have the understanding of what the womb's language is as you're cycling through.
Your cycle is here to heal and regenerate health within the body, can you imagine that?

My name is Nick, and I'm the one behind the illustrations, packaging, and graphic design. Melissa Elizabeth is the philosopher behind the creation of the Women's Wheel, and as I don't identify as a woman, I'm going to focus on what my contributions have been.
So a little background: From the beginning, I wanted the art syle to be very traditionally feminine, but with a more graphic, powerful representation.
That lead me to Art Nuveau. I associate the style with fairytales- an apt exploration of archetypal study. The style's embellishments and swirly, unexpected shapes inform the texture of the project.
For the colors, we wanted to select an array that does NOT inform our traditional understanding of seasons but instead reflects the emotional state depicted within the wheel's archetypes. There was a lot of back and forth regarding selecting the colors that define the project, but we eventually came out with the "bible" you see below:
I always start my projects with graphics like these, as they help ensure all of my creations fit within the specified parameters- leading to a cohesive design aesthetic.
The Women's Wheel helps to make sense of your own multiplicity, fostering awareness within yourself and the skills to have meaningful connections with other women in your relational spheres.
What's been your biggest challenge when relating or connecting with other women? Whether it be friends, family or coworkers?
